ICONIC AMERICA - from yellowstone pt 7

BISON = AMERICA
These shots really encapsulate the feel of yellowstone to me... the non geyser part of the park.

While bison are not the most exciting animals in the park they do seem to scream Yellowstone and America to me.

Just need those birds to be Bald Eagles in thr background right?

What is the most american animal in your opinion?

Nice with a touch of snow on the hills. They are majestic animals.

My closest encounter with them was getting a bison burger at Antelope Island. lol

Maybe they're not exciting to you because you are use to them, for those of us who have never seen them before, they're pretty amazing looking beasts! ; ) What stunning scenery!!

I think people love the scarcity and the danger of some of the others like bears... but a bison with a great backdrop is probably gonna be my favorite shots from the trip

Great views of the wildlife and scenery! You picked a great time of year to go! Last time I was there, wildfires had the whole region overcast with smoke.

Yeah no wildfires so far... too much snow on the ground still in tok many places haha

Wow love these.

Truly majestic creatures! You really captured this, especially in the 2nd photo, love it!

How lucky we all are to have these great beasts still around. I hope the world can see the day when they are in the hundred thousands... millions... again.
