Project DudeLand Presents: In the Union is the Force Cooperation between Steemians bringing Joy and Smiles to Communities in Venezuela /// Thank you very Much Steemit /// Fundraising ///

in #youarehope6 years ago (edited)

In life there are moments that are unique and that fill your spirit with an eternal peace that leaves in the depths of your heart the satisfaction of knowing that you are on the right path and that whatever happens, you will live full of Love.

About 5 months ago I had a dream that was born here in the community of Steemit, create a project called DudeLand that translated into my language that is Spanish, it would be; Land of Friends.

The Dudeland Project is for the communities that need support to advance and grow, opening our hearts to leave indelible marks in their lives, it is an Active and Constant project that is generated from the interest of the Steemians in contributing a grain of sand in this sea of opportunities, where we start from the most important thing that children are, who represent the future of any country in the world, where we give our heart and passion to reach the last corner of our communities.

CIMG0058 (2).JPG

The communities and institutions that have been supported by the Dudeland Project (Land of Friends) have benefited from food donations, school supplies, kitchen supplies, memory games, books, new shoes for the little ones.

The first donation we made was in the dining room Virgen Del Perpetuo Socorro located in Turmero Estado Aragua, where I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with the Brother Pablo in charge of the dining room which has been in operation for several years. We had a very pleasant chat where I explained what Steemit's platform is about and the benefits it brings to the active users on the page and the endless opportunities that it can bring out of it.

p2.JPG

Since I started on the platform of Steemit I never imagined the scope that could have in such a short time, I started uploading varied content and a couple of weeks ago I started with the project "Land of Friends" (DudeLand) to encourage collaboration between Each of us and motivate other users to give a grain of sand to the Venezuelan community that is currently going through a very difficult situation, which has me totally motivated and full of desire to continue building this path of hope for a different tomorrow

During the time I was in the dining room I could better understand the great contribution that this group of people provide, which with great effort and dedication make this work because with them it is an enormous responsibility because they are responsible every day to give a large number of people a plate of food, and not only take care of that but also to provide spiritual and emotional support with their prayers, songs and dances. Note a great change of people at the time of entering, in the course of the prayers I could feel that change of mood of being sad to be fully animated in children and adults, because within the place a great positive vibration is breathed.

p1.JPG

If for a moment we give ourselves the opportunity to not only think of ourselves as independent individuals, but as a united community with values of struggle, we would give a firm step to what we call change, sometimes the motivation is found outside our zone of comfort. We just need more people to think positively and differently to gradually improve all, today with this experience I realized that many times we are dissatisfied with what we have and we do not know how to appreciate it, I could see people receiving a contribution so small, for them it had an enormous significance.

p3.JPG

Humanity only needs a small push to achieve their dreams.

Our second donation was at the Cristina Baptista State Basic School located in the Macaro de Turmero state of Aragua, where we had a pleasant conversation with their Director where we proposed the initiative that we had in mind, which was received with very much liked because within the institution there is a large number of students who can not attend classes for lack of some school supplies, because in the areas near the school many of the communities have a high rate of extreme poverty and many of those parents It is difficult for them to send their children to school because they do not have the necessary resources.

s3.JPG

We make the purchase of notebooks, pencils, erasers and pencil sharpeners that are the basic tools for day to day classes.

This was given to a group of children who were selected by their teachers, in order to choose those who really need it.

At the time of delivering the supplies I could see how grateful the children and their teachers were when they received those tools that for them are the key to a better future. Between smiles and thanks, the delivery of the supplies was developed and without a doubt I can assure you that it is something that my team and I can feel proud of and it is something we want to continue doing.

A part of the donation was given to the Director of the institution, these were reams of white sheets and exam sheets, acrylic markers for blackboards, drafts for blackboards, this available to the teaching staff, which may make use of these in the moment they need it.

s1.JPG

Another of the educational institutions where the donation of school supplies was made was in the Algeria Laya Educational Unit located in the Julia State Aragua (Venezuela) this time we had the opportunity to deliver 100 Combos of School Supplies which had 1 notebook, 1 Draft, 1 pencil sharpener and 2 pencils to 100 children of this institution which were selected by their teachers, to be able to choose those who really need it.

You could also feel the joy of each of the children to receive such a precious gift, for them it has a great value because it is a necessary tool to build their future, I also had the great surprise that this time the parents They attended with their children, they were very grateful and also showed curiosity about the contribution we are making, for me it was very gratifying to see this as it is the first time that we bring parents and children together and show them that with the support of an entire Community (Steemit ) all this could be achieved.

s4.JPG

Children are the future of any country, nation or community, they are the generation of relief and they need all the support of us so that they can build their future. Many of these children have dreams that they would like to make real such as doctors, teachers, scientists, architects, athletes, to achieve this they must be trained in the schools that are the second home of these children, since at home those people are formed with values that they will be good people in the future, the key is education.

Within the Community of @steemit there are endless projects that like this one (Land of friends) have great ideas, others that are in full growth as well as some projects with more humanitarian purposes that really leave the steemit's name in the highest part of the world filling the whole community with pride. These projects generate enough energy in this platform to continue working on innovative projects. This brings a great responsibility, since our most loyal followers are waiting for good content and ideas that can help us grow as a group and we can share this knowledge with the other users that make up the Steemit family.

A Being without Studies is an Incomplete Being

Simón Bolívar

Continuing with this beautiful work, we had the opportunity to visit the Special Education Institute "Rosario de Paya" (IEE "Rosario de Paya") school attached to the Ministry of People's Power for Education corresponding to the Special modality, Mental Retardation area (associated to autism, microcephaly, Down syndrome, Epilepsy, visual compromise, motor and language) located in the Main Avenue of the Rosario de Paya Community, Paya down sector, pedro Arévalo Aponte parish of the Municipality of Santiago Mariño, State Aragua, attend an enrollment of 56 schoolchildren aged between 5 and 15 years of age from families with low economic resources, with multiple socio-family problems which makes it difficult for medical care of their clients.

The school lacked resources such as equipment, materials and supplies in its small kitchen for the preparation of children's meals. It is important to note that they had raised requests for help from different institutions in order to equip them with the necessary tools, but they never received a response.

s6.JPG

Before the school was equipped, the institution was faced with the painful need to borrow pots, pans, cups, knives and spoons, even a bottle with its regulator from school personnel and representatives. On many occasions they had served food in recyclable butter containers and occasionally lent them a juice blender.

This directly affected these children who require such special and meticulous care, as they do not have the basics of a plate, glass, spoon.

These articles will accompany the school and will see many students pass by, collaborating with their growth and motivation to move forward.

The director of the institution received us very happy also and talked with us about the function of the school, how they work with the children, to which they dedicate themselves day by day to keep them as well as possible and meet their needs, a really admirable job. All the teaching staff was very grateful for this help to the little ones since they are the ones who give life to this school and those who are mainly affected.

CIMG0091.JPG

On the other hand the kitchen managers were equally grateful because the shortages were many and with this help it is much easier for them to continue with the attention they give to the children of this institution.

For their part, the children really enjoyed this time that we shared with them, because they were very excited when we started to deliver the school supplies and without a doubt we know that from now on they will also enjoy the utensils that were taken to the dining room of the institution.

_ An experience that from beginning to end without a doubt made us feel pleased in doing this work._

To give continuity to the series of donations of the Dudeland Project (Land of Friends) we show the work done in the "Turmero National Labor Education Workshop" with the help of your votes and wishes, always expecting to have you in future projects and spread this type of initiatives in communities, counting on that this type of actions will be made bigger and will reach many more people.

In this opportunity we visited the Institute of Special Education "Turmero National Labor Education Workshop" (TELN Turmero) school attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Education corresponding to the Special modality, Mental Retardation area (associated with autism, microcephaly, Down, Epilepsy, visual commitment, motor and language) located at the end of Black First Street in Turmero, Santiago Mariño Municipality, Aragua State along with two adjacent locations to this, which are located one in Rosario de Paya and one in ETA Gonzalito on April 19, attending an enrollment of 140 schoolchildren aged between 15 and 56 years of age from families with low economic resources, with multiple socio-family problems which makes it difficult for their clients to receive medical attention.

s7.JPG

s8.JPG

This school is a special place because they train them to do a trade, so that they can be accepted and develop in the work area of a company or institution in the areas of: sewing, maintenance, preparation of cleaning products, agriculture, painting, recycling, cooking, baking, hairdressing, packaging, costume jewelery and binding.

Remember that companies and institutions have regulations that oblige them to receive and serve people with special needs to fulfill certain trades within it, this school Workshop forms them so that they can be inserted into society as a person qualified for work .

The estimated time for the training of these boys and adults is from 5 to 7 years. They have spaces that, although they are deteriorated and have been stolen, have been able to continue learning at least the basics and in areas such as cooking and baking, the staff joins to provide the ingredients to fulfill their activities.

s9.JPG

s10.JPG

On the other hand this school workshop has a kitchen that is responsible for preparing breakfast and lunch, however there are problems with food provision throughout the country and enrollment has fallen by the same need to the point that they attend from 30 to 70 students, 140 being full enrollment.

The donation consists of 100 arepas with an egg scramble accompanied by 56 oranges to give them a full and balanced breakfast to all the staff that lives in the school.

s11.JPG

What we wanted to achieve with this visit is to encourage them and motivate them to continue working for their dreams and prepare to be a better person every day through continuous work and learning despite the country situation in which we are.

We prepared an activity that was not only focused on bringing them a large breakfast that many of them do not have in their home, but also the human part with sports activities and a music lesson where they sang and laughed and were introduced and taught the instruments as the recorder and the "cuatro" (Venezuelan instrument).

s12.JPG

The reception and excitement of the children could not miss seeing these instruments, since they do not have a music teacher even when they have the musical abilities to receive such classes.

s13.JPG

In this Opportunity the Project team DudeLand wanted to go further and be part of the community to enter the places that have the greatest need and where our donations would have a greater impact.

In the Rosario de Paya community, with the help of their votes and wishes, a donation of books could be achieved. Always waiting to count on you in future projects and disseminate this type of initiatives in communities, expecting that this type of actions will be made bigger and will reach many more people.

s14.JPG

_ This community is unfortunately in a situation of poverty where 60% of children do not attend classes due to lack of school supplies, shoes or not eating. Since their parents do not have the necessary resources to cover these expenses._

Upon arrival we were greeted with a lot of joy, we were approached by several children to talk and greet us as soon as we arrived, that filled me with much joy.

The children really enjoyed this time that we shared with them, because they were very excited when we started to give them the books and Memory games.

At the time of delivery of the books I could see how grateful the children and their parents were when they received those tools that for them are the key to a better future. Between smiles and thanks, the delivery of the books was developed and without a doubt I can assure you that it is something that my team as well as my person can feel proud of and it is something we want to continue doing.

s15.JPG

We can build a tower of ideas and turn them into reality, if we focus on what we want it sounds like something that only happens in movies, but the truth is that in Steemit dreams can come true, with motivation and vision for the future to achieve what we want.

I am convinced of the brotherhood that exists within the steemit community, and of the faith that many have when they open their hearts to other people, those who day by day are contributing reciprocally inside and outside the steemit community, I present this Project, with which we will continue demonstrating how the steemit ecosystem can be part of our communities.

To complete this POST dedicated to the great work we have achieved together in the community of Steemit, on Saturday 05/05/2018 the delivery of 30 pairs of New Shoes and 2 Packages was made of clinical diapers, to the children of the Rosario de Paya community located in the State of Aragua (Venezuela).

00.jpg

With the help of the You Are Hope Foundation and the massive support of the Steemit community, she was able to buy 30 pairs of New Shoes and 2 Packs of Clinical diapers needed by a girl who has a disease that does not allow her to walk and her parents they do not have the support to pay for these clinical diapers, which have a value higher than a minimum salary for any Venezuelan.

the Rosario de Paya community that with the help of their votes and wishes could be achieved, always hoping to count on you in future projects and to spread this type of initiatives in communities, counting on that this type of actions will be made bigger and to reach many more people.

15.jpg

During my time at Steemit I have learned a lot and this has changed the way I see things, everything arrives at the time no matter the time or the place, everything depends on the opportunities that may arise and the capacity we have to take advantage of them. %.

Within Steemit there are endless projects that have great ideas, others that are in full growth as well as some projects with more humanitarian purposes that really leave the name of steemit at the top of the world filling the entire community with pride . These projects generate enough energy in this platform to continue working on innovative projects. This brings a great responsibility, since our most loyal followers are waiting for good content and ideas that can help us grow as a group and we can share this knowledge with the other users that make up the Steemit family.

MY COMMITMENT TO ALL OF YOU

The value of what is collected with this publication; will be destined for the purchase of more Shoes, which I wish to deliver to the community that I have visited, I already made the delivery of 30 pairs of new shoes, but I want to reach the goal of 100 pairs of new shoes.

They have delivered 30 pairs of shoes and are missing 70 more to reach the goal, it will be the first fundraiser to fulfill this ambitious project of donating 100 pairs of shoes.

s2.JPG

For the execution of this project the approximate amount of 200 SBD is needed, that is 2.8 SBD for each shoe, this is subject to change, since in my country, the price of things increases all the days.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I am not asking for that amount of money, I only give a figure so that they have in mind the magnitude of what I wish that among all of us we could reach, regardless of the amount of SBD collected by this publication. It will be destined to the purchase of more Shoes.

It will show before and after images about the execution of the project.
For the peace of mind of those who wish to confirm the expenses of the donation, they may request said invoices, if they so wish.

Think about it, all these works are achieved with our Upvotes dice. It is not a donation of money, or any work that you have to do, just by clicking on the Mouse.</center

Hi @bigdude, excellent work you are doing.

Are you still needing more funds for the shoes?

Hi, my good friend.

If I am still collecting money for the purchase of more shoes, the delivery of 30 pairs of shoes was done, the goal is 100 pairs of new shoes that will be given to the children who need it most, all the SBD collected by this publication will be used for the purchase of shoes. @pennsif
