Flaming Dress of Orange
In among all of the green man's splendor and life, dances Autumn in her flaming dress of orange. (shameless TON plug)
For now she is only a speckle on the stage, so early in the summer. A single Japanese Maple, showing its beautiful colors.
The vivid colors of orange in the tree are closely rendered by my camera, but they were actually more vivid than this. I wish I had a way to convey the feeling of this to everyone, here under the sun as color blasted through the canopy.

There were others to be sure, but non had reached the same full color as the one over the gazebo.

Most of the plants haven't really powered up their colors just yet, so the reds and oranges of the Japanese Maples is a nice contrast.
