We are Re-Remodeling a House Flip
I put a house flip on the market about a month ago that we had our roofer repair. The roofer had done a great job with roofs and had been bugging us to work on a flip. We finally gave in since this would be an easy project. He could paint everything including the kitchen cabinets, install flooring and make some other minor repairs. You can see the video of the house after we bought it below:
The contract gave us a bid, we accepted it and he started working on the house. He did an okay job but picked a horrible paint color. We almost always pick the paint colors but for some reason, we did not on this one. He had a few minor things to fix after his remodel, but we could not get him to come back and fix them. He also kept saying he was going to buy the house for himself but never did. Here is what the house looked like after we fixed it:
I debated about putting it on the market like this, but we tried it. We had over 50 showings and only one offer. That offer changed their mind as we were about to accept it! Finally, I decided to repaint the house and bring in someone else to finish things up.
