Learning to Drive - Zapfic
Mark pressed his foot down onto the pedal. The engine roared to life. He felt the familiar thrill as his hands wrapped around the steering wheel.
"Not too fast you're still a learner."
The instructor gripped the handle, his hand white.

ooo I like it, you manage to paint a willful boy racer who has been driving underage, and raring to go, without ever saying it, as well as capturing that element of trying to hide the fear driving instructors trade in
Apparently those handles are called 'Chicken Handles'. Not sure what that says about passengers that use them. You don't use it so that must mean my driving is safe. :)
