Hello Everybody!

The time you have all been waiting for has arrived! Week 21 of #zencolouringcontest ended earlier today, and now to announce the winners!

So without further ado, let's get on with the show(case)!

In 3rd place:

I chose picked this one because I really like the pattern and textures used to colour the stencil. The palette of colours is quite eye catching and the use of that background, tying in the concept of the rainy day that it was while they coloured in the pattern, is a very nice and personal touch!

In 2nd place:

@ciaolovers

I chose this one because of the interesting inspiration of it being the underside of an otherworldly ship. The colours are vibrant and create a nice pattern. The shading in the circular sections look like inflated balloons that hold the ship up and the animation is that final extra touch to bring it all together!

And in 1st place:

I picked this one as the winner because I loved that the pattern was printed first, had extra shapes and patterns added by hand, then scanned back in and coloured & edited digitally. The additional patterns and shapes make this entry really stand out and the colours used are complimentary to the featured colour pink. The ethereal repeating pattern in the corners is a nice touch and goes well with the background used!

The corresponding prize will be sent when the contest post pays out!
