Hello Everybody!

The time you have all been waiting for has arrived! Week 38 of #zencolouringcontest ended a while ago, and now to announce the winners!

So without further ado, let's get on with the show(case)!

Firstly lets announce the new prize winner voted for by a couple of admirers and entrants for the contest,

This entry was a common favourite among the voters in the Zen Colouring Discord Server.

In 3rd place:

@itachi24j

I chose this one because I like the combination of colours that create an eye-catching pattern. I love the subtle shading which adds depth to the image and I especially like the incandescent teal shading that surrounds the Phoenix!

In 2nd place:

@tormenta

I picked this one because I love the textures and colours used to create a wonderful pattern withing the segments of the design. I especially like the fiery texture in the wing tips and the rainbow of flames that form the in the body. The use of the sun in the background is also a very nice touch!

And in 1st place:

@integridad

I chose this one as the winner because I loved the mixture of shades of blue combined with the other colours. The textures used in the wings and parts of the body is an awesome touch. I also really like the addition of the circle of lightning that surrounds the Phoenix, giving the impression that fire isn't its only power. The yellow glow coming from behind it highlights the design nicely too!
