Blasting beat

Entry for Zen Colouring Contest #43

image My finished work, after coloring, adding a background and effects to the stencil.

I wanted to give the stencil a "Major Lazor look". I think his music videos are very colorful and "popping". If you haven't seen them, check 'em out!
I am happy with how the "blasting" turned out, I think it looks like the speakers are erupting.

I pick purple for next week's featured colour.

The prosess

image The original stencil, which we could color any way we wanted.

Prosses photo after I have colored some of the stencil with "sketch" on my phone.

image Here I have colored the image, and given it a green background.

image To finish it I added flares, bokeh and other effects to make the image "blasting".

    I love the colour palette of purple and orange on the headphones, the pattern is very striking and accentuated by the use of black in segments. I really like the effects you used on the design, the 'blasting' particles work really well to illustrate those blasting beats. The background is beautiful explosion of green and yellow and contrasts the colours of the headphones nicely!
