Zomato acquires Lucknow-based startup Teach-eagle for drone based food delivery in india
Zomato acquires Lucknow based startup Teach-eagle on Wednesday. The amount of acquisition is remain undisclosed. The startup exclusive works on the drone-based delivery system. This help Zomato to create a hub to hub delivery network said by Zomato in a statement.
Zomato co-founder said that "we are in the early stage of aerial innovation and we are taking baby steps towards future. In the future user can except delivery of the food by a drone which they ordered online."
Zomato official said that our food delivery system contributes to the 65% of company revenue. The company has partnered over 75,000 restaurants and delivers food over 100 cities in India.
