Are you coming to Prague for the biggest Bitcoin conference in Europe in June?

I just read about BTC Prague, the biggest Bitcoin event in Europe. It is quite fantastic, considering that it was arranged for the first time in 2023, and in one year, it has turned into the biggest event. With more than 6500 attendees in 2023, they are expecting more than 10,000 people to drop by in 2024 for the festival. And I definitely consider it tempting, seeing that they have invited Michael Saylor, Jack Mallers, and several other big profiles from the Bitcoin community to speak during the event.

In other words, this is a tempting offer, and knowing that it wouldn't be very complicated to travel to Prague, I feel the temptation. But then, the price is €350, which is quite expensive for a seat to sit on as you listen to lots of stuff you might be able to listen to at YouTube a few days after the event.

Of course, such a conference is about building bridges and meeting up with the community, but still...

Who knows... anyone else going to Prague for BTC Prague 2024?
You can read more about the event in the Prague Guide at https://www.praguepraha.com/events/btc-prague/

It is also interesting to see how the Bitcoin community in general looks down on all other cryptocurrencies and consider Bitcoin to be the superior to everyone else. They look down on Ethereum, Solana, and the rest of the layer-1 blockchains, and consider Proof-of-work to be the only solid option in today's world. Even though Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash, and Dogecoin are proof-of-work coins, they are still just poor copies, so Bitcoin is the only solid option. I don't really like that, but still, it is worth listening to them to try to understand why they are saying what they are saying.
