What your favorite movie and why?

My favourite movie is titled Breaded Life, it is a Nigerian movie that was acted to help encourage the youths to go into entrepreneurship. The reason why I love this movie most is because it helps to bring out the entrepreneurship in me.

Before watching the movie I never taught I can go into any business of my own but immediately after watching it I discovered that there are lots I can do I just need to open myself up for the available opportunities.

The movie opened my heart and mind to new challenges and more opportunities to work even more harder. So this movie is a movie everyone who wishes to start his or her business needs to watch as it will go a long way to guide and direct you on the right path.

How does the storyline or theme of your favorite movie relate to real world entrepreneurship?

The theme of the movie is Breaded Life. At first I was curious as to why the movie was titled such but after sometimes I discovered why it was given that title. Since the movie was aimed at encouraging youths to start up their own mini business no matter how small, then it is important they use the least thing one can start up with.

In my country bread 🍞 is very common, so because of that, they feel that anyone selling bread is the poorest person but one can actually start from anywhere and that is the main reason why the theme of the movie was chosen.

What specific business lessons or strategie can be learned from the character or events in the movie ?

From the movie one of the business strategies that I learnt was that you can start from anywhere at all. It is a story of a young man who has everything at his disposal and hence he never felt the need to work and earn his own money since his father has worked for lots of money and kept for him.

Within a blink of an eye 👁️ everything his father worked for disappeared and he has to work for himself. It was a terrible experience for him because he has never worked his entire life.

But seeing the situation he found himself, he decided to start from scratch and the zeal and dedication he put in anything he was doing was really amazing and that is the part that got my attention the most. So anything you are doing at the moment, ensure you put in effort to make a difference.

He was packaging his products such that it was different from others and that made him to stand out among others and that is how he started and grew beyond expectations.

In what way has your favorite movie influence your own entrepreneurial mindset or approach to business challenges ?

Ever since I watched that movie, my mindset about business changed completely. It came to my knowledge that I can actually became a very good business person if only I can dedicate my time and effort to building the business.

I never thought of starting my own business before I watched the movie but immediately after watching the movie I rushed and opened my own business and now I have some wears that I auction for my friends and coursemates.

I decided to start a little. Though the business is not going as expected but I'm determined to keep pushing because I know I will be successful soon. My eyes are still wide open looking for more better opportunity and if I see anyone I will gladly start without hesitation. I want to invite @okere-blessing, @mesola, and @dave-hanny to join the contest also.
