SEC17/W5: caring for aged and dependent relatives in the family

Hello steemian friends. Hope you all are well. By the grace of Allah I am also well. Today I'm off to participate in Week 05 of the Engagement Challenge Session 17 hosted by the Steem Kids & Parents community. This week's Engagement Challenge contest will discuss a great topic. The topic is SEC17 WK:#5: Caring for Elderly and Dependent Family Members. So let's begin.

I live together with my family. There are 6 people in our family. I am the eldest son of my family. I have two younger brothers. My parents live with me. My father works. I have just completed my studies and am trying to go abroad. I am responsible for all the family. So I have to work hard for that. So our family is happy now. Meanwhile, another person lives in our family, he is my uncle.

He is mentally retarded since childhood. I have never seen a good person like him anywhere in my life. He adored us from childhood. He doesn't understand anything, he can't speak. But can understand us. We have been nurturing him since childhood. Allah says crazy people take their families to Paradise. So we love him a lot. He is a dependent relative of my family.

My family always accepts his responsibility. He does not allow any lack. My father does not let him lack anything. Seeing his condition, many outsiders want to ignore him. But we all keep him. I always take her home with cakes, biscuits and her favorite food to make her happy. Nutritious food is cooked for him daily to feed him.

Winter clothes are bought for him, summer clothes are bought for him. He is not allowed to perceive any kind of deficiency. Because he is a dear member of our family. He is always kept clean and fresh by bathing. My parents clean his room everyday. So always serve him.

When I help someone, I help them from the heart. Allah does not like to help people in front of people. So I help whoever I can as much as I can. I enjoy helping. Because when I help a poor or helpless person, my mind is refreshed. I help people outside my family as well. The old man in the family is like the banyan tree of the family. We always need their prayers.

So the old people should always be taken care of. I adore, respect, care for and serve my uncle. I like or enjoy it very much. Helping him is also my reward. I always want to help my family. I always want to keep my family happy. When I bought him a hat a few days ago, he was so happy, I was so happy to see it.

It is true that age makes my uncle dependent. My uncle is much younger than my father. My uncle will be 40 years old. So because of his mental disability, he could move with whatever strength he had, now that strength has gradually decreased. So now its difficult to move without our help. That's why I always keep an eye on him.

My whole family looks after him. Feed him at the right time. Get him bathed and dressed at the right time. When another relative comes to our house, she goes out of her way to entertain him. Although he points it out to us. So I want to buy clothes for him with the reward money of this post. I love my uncle very much. It is my privilege to serve him.

Finally I will say that this contest is a very good contest. Here everyone can see the dependent relatives of everyone's family. We are all grateful to our families. They are our guides. We grew up with their knowledge. So thanks to everyone in this community for organizing such a beautiful contest.
