My Personal Opinion about the movie Strained |

The movie Strained is a fantastic movie I recommend for everyone! You won't be wasting your time seeing this movie.
The movie tells a story of reconciliation and forgiveness from a misunderstanding between a mother and her daughter. It also shows how deep a mother's love can be.

In this movie, you would see a woman who left her home because a her husband abused her physical everyday, she left her lovely daughter in the hands of her husband and this daughter grew up to hate her mother not knowing the full story behind her mother's leaving.

As it is the custom in the Igbo speaking parts of Nigeria that when a woman gives birth, her mother is to come and help her take care of the baby and the woman. This practice is called Umugwo . Now in the case of this particular woman, after she got married and had her baby, she funds it difficult to handle work, the baby and been a wife.

She insisted her mother won't come because of the hatred she has for her. Her husband could not help much because he also needs to travel for a business trip. Tell me what will you do if you were in that situation? Hire a nanny right? But no! Her husband insisted that no stranger will take care of his kids.

Long story short after much deliberation on what to do, her husband decides to call his wife mother to come for Umugwo even though his wife didn't like the idea. Can you guess what happened next?
You definitely know I won't be telling you all that transpired in this movie because I want to give you a chance to enjoy the movie when you eventually see it.
But guess what? It had a happy ending..

This movie got me laughing at a point as the mother of the lady in person of Queen Nwokoye kept me entertained. At some point too I got emotional because of the way this woman was treated by her daughter.

Strained is movie with so much lessons to learn especially if you are a woman or aspiring to be a mother soon.i learnt so much.
The movie quality of this movie is something to talk about. I think this is the first time am seeing a movie directed by Okechukwu Oku and I can say he didn't do badly at all.
The costume, picture quality and even music displayed in this movie all displayed excellence. I give kudos to all the actors and the director of the movie. They all played their roles well.
Therefore, my rating for this movie is 9/10. Do you like my rating? I would like to hear what you think about my rating.

This movie is very interesting and it has a lot of lessons to learn. Having a hatred for someone for so many years is bad and I wonder how people manage to do that, does it mean it's not heavy on them to carry for so many year. The lady was so bitter with her mom for something she didn't understand clearly. Even when the mom finally came to her, she found it so difficult to let go instead she tormented the woman until she left. I felt for her mom, because her story was so touching.
Every aspiring mom should see this movie, you have a lot to learn. To our host @ruthjoe, kudos to you on this one.

Strained, strained, strained
From the highlight I see the strain everywhere. Most people from broken homes do not actually know the true stories behind the strain in their family and this has breed so many uncalled for emotions in the family.
Am glad that the movie had a happy ending. I do look forward to seeing it soon.

Yes I was happy too that the movie had a happy ending. While seeing the movie, I had to forward it over and over because I wanted to see the end before I think of continuing or to stop.
