I Like Purple!............. NW Cascade Wanderings

My favorite color since I can remember, is purple! As a kid, I had a light purple room. There are 140 shades of purple according to Google. That’s a lot of purple!

Flowers often display some of the prettiest shades of it. Take this Iris, for example. It is so intensely purple!

Although it is my favorite color, I ironically don’t seem to care for purple cars! Maybe it’s because the manufacturers have yet to get that just right shade of purple! For a car, I prefer a red one. Interesting 🧐…..

Today began with ladies Bible study. It was a good study in Colossians 1:1-23.

I ran by the post office afterwards to get the clinic mail and then headed home. Once there, I went to the garden and pulled weeds for about 30 minutes or so. I figure if I can spend a little bit each day on it, they won’t have the chance to get out of control so much. While out there, I discovered something else-my pumpkins are coming up!

These are sugar pie pumpkins so the won’t be huge but I’m good with that. 😎

I also found some ‘shrooms who have taken up residence in another part of the garden.

It’s been a really nice day,but reality is closing in. Tomorrow brings work and all that goes with it-not enough sleep, the never ending list of things I need to do and so on. On the bright side, we are not booked, so I might just have an opportunity to utilize that time for those projects.
