Today was PEPE’s very first time accompanying Liz and Silvertop to the Ocean!😇
Explaining “ Low Tide “ to him was a challenge……….
PEPE thought someone had drained the “ Big Pond! “
Spotting a very well fed pet Pig on a leash was a first for all of us!☺️
The forecast has calling for very high UV for today. Everyone applied sunscreen before arriving at the ocean!
PEPE added a thick layer of “ Green sunblock “ I’m not even sure where he got this from, or what was in it!😳
Liz and Silvertop started hiking………PEPE started hopping!🐸
All of us were a bit groggy, we stayed up way too late last night!
The entire valley, from North to South, was shrouded in a curtain of stunning colors! For the first time, on a clear night, we had a breathtaking view of the Northern Lights!🤗

Boulevard park was busy today, both on the shore, and in the water………..
Do you remember my post from a while back, alerting swimmers and boaters about the cold year-round temperature of the water in the Pacific Northwest?
I don’t think you will catch Silvertop on a stand up paddle board Lol!🥶
So many things to explore, we followed the trail to Fairhaven Marine Park.
Check out the purple Star Fish clinging to that large boulder by the water, I wonder if all Star Fish are this color?
At the end of today’s hike we were tired!😅
That’s when I found PEPE sitting on a rock, looking out across the low tide rocky beach……………….🙄
