PromoSteem: The Inaugural Steem SEA Community Meet Up

Two days ago I attended and participated in a series of Meet Up, Promo –Steem and Iftar with Steemians. The event took place in the city of Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia. Six hours after the event took place I had finished preparing writing materials about The Diary Game about my daily activities in participating and preparing myself to attend this grand event, but in the writing (posting) I only wrote and told about the series of activities in general, I didn’t explain activities as a whole. Because of the short time that day I chose to write The Diary Game only, so allow me to take this opportunity to describe in more detail the activities that took place on April 18, 2021, which unified all the Steemians in downtown Lhokseumawe. And I came in the midst of the Steemians, curators from the Steem Sea community, great volunteers from Steem Amal and friends from the Indonesian Volunteer Society - Quick Response Action (MRI-ACT). It was a very extraordinary activity, feeling very happy and proud of the holding of the inaugural Meet Up of the Southeast Asia Steem Community (Steem SEA).

There I saw a series of old Steemians who attended, they were people who were much more experienced than I said, one of them was Mr. @ayijufridar he was a teacher for me. For a long time I have known the Steemit platform, he has continued to guide me, provide motivation, provide inspirational images and he also invited me back to be exact one year ago when I met at the National Seminar on Archivment and National Library in North Aceh. And now I'm back, yeah, come back to join with other Steemians to support the Steem Sea community, the Newcomers community and the Promo Steem community. There were also @tucsond, @heriadi, @klen.civil @darmawanbukhari and other seniors. I also know a number of Stemians and also act as an organizing committee for activities that support the implementation of the @steem.amal program. They are @nadilchairi @firyfaiz @asiahaiss @sisol @fwindanda @curiesea @nm007 @miftahuddin @waterjoe @harferry and @irawandedy

In this Workshop and Meet Up, I also had the opportunity to meet the curator team of the Steem SEA community directly, they are @anroja @radjasalman @el-nailul, this is my first meeting with them after a long time I followed them in the Steem SEA community and the Steem Amal program. There also with the curators I know friends who are very active in supporting the Steem SEA community, I had a chat with @ muzack1 @ ikhsan01 @herimukti @green07. Warm greetings sir, I hope we meet soon on another opportunity. I met again for the umpteenth time with the promoter Promo Steem team, namely @ arie.steem @pojan @ponpase and came together with the old Stemians, namely @hattaarshavin @teukumuhas.

Meet Up, Workshop & Promo-Steem

I arrived on time because the location of the Workshop and Meet Up activities was very close to where I live, I participated in this Steem Promo activity solemnly and participated until the event was over. The event took place smoothly, controlled by the procedures set by the organizing committee. The committee has recapitulated a series of activities that will be carried out, they also made a discussion between parties from the Steem SEA community and the Steem Amal program organizers, maybe it has been posted in advance on the Steem SEA community homepage. They were the committee who were clearer in releasing the preparations and programs that were carried out in this activity. I just gave a general description, about what is useful in the activities of Meet Up, Promo Steem and Iftar with Steemians. The following is an agenda that I follow carefully, if there is something missing or anomalies in writing please understand:

1. Register for Meet Up participants, Steem Promos and Iftar Together

2. Opening activities and introductions by @anroja and @radjasalman

3. Registering an account for the Indonesian Volunteer Society (MRI) and the Quick Response Action Volunteers (ACT)

4. Complete Achievement 1 and Achievement 2 (further Achievement is postponed)

5. Initial posting (Introduce) is accompanied by basic photography with the name of the account written on it

6. Iftar together at Ayam Penyet Pak Ulis Lhokseumawe

7. Documentation and Photo Together with Steemians

8. Meetings of the Steem SEA curatorial committee and the Steem Amal board

In fact, the objects of this activity are those of the Indonesian Volunteer Society (MRI) and Quick Response Action Volunteers (ACT), in order to register a Steemit account with each volunteer assigned to and support the Steem Amal program in distributing aid to various regions. This activity brought in direct curators and a team of curators from the Steem SEA community. However, this activity also invited several Senior Steemians to enliven the workshop and Meet Up events. The presence of the old Steemians was also full of their contribution in guiding and teaching Newcomers how to register an account. They voluntarily help these new account users to be focused in making posts and be careful in maintaining account security. This event lasted for about 3 hours, and arrived at the friendly meeting "Iftar Together" where the participants and guests were served a variety of fresh food and drinks. Everyone is happy to enjoy this togetherness, hopefully in the future we can continue to communicate, share experiences and establish good cooperation.
