A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

The story was short but scary as grandpa sat in the living room and narrates his experience out they in his youth on the open sea

It wasn't fun as it sounds said grandpa as I was eager to experience the life of the open waters as I followed my dad to sail the sea in other to fish in the open waters 💧

In the big boat I stood as we sail ⛵️ to the cloudy shades of the ocean then I looked back and behold I didn't see land of which I came at that point I know that they was no turning back

We sail for many months without seeing land and as my dad's compass 🧭 got wreck by God knows what we were lost in the sea

But my dad kept it a secret from me as he didn't want to scare me, then when I looked into his eyes I saw fear and trembling in his voice as he speaks

For another months still sailing and we started eating our fish which we got he then open up that we were lost at sea 🌊 that what ever happens that he will get us back to safe ground

We sail and then saw some pail of ice but here is where the tragic incident took place as the ice stroke the big boat and we started to sang

As the water was entering the boat my dad knew that it was over as they had many crew but two get away boats

So along with some other crew members I was put in the get away boat but it was almost enough for everyone but my dad refuses to climb on board say that the boat that is about to submerged into the ocean is his families legacy

That a captain of a ship never leaves a ship behind, so he stayed back on board while the boat was swallowed by the ocean

I cried and couldn't control myself as the two get away boat was floating to who knows were one of the boat were blast over board by wind in the night and it was left with just one which is the one I was inside.

After after another extra three months on the boat three men had died already finally in the morning we saw the most amazing thing ever

The light house which stood in an island but at least finally we have seen dry land and from there we were sure that help will come

Sitting so sad in the living room as I listened to grandpa narrates thus story I couldn't stop thinking about it as it is the reason why grandpa never leaves the house as he added that the oceans holds the key to the biggest secret on earth
