Hi, all fellow Steemians,

Good Evening,

This is my fourth weekly report as a Steem Representative, and I am happy to say that since I was already involved with newbies' support, I am better off as a curator on the Newcomers' Team. I am more in touch with newbies, and I can see more and more newbies on my followers' list. I can devote more of my time to them compared to what I did before this.

I was curious as I have been reading about the selection process of the winners in the challenge contests by various communities, I decided to give it a go. I normally write three to four posts in SEC every week out of seven, but I did only one in the first six days of the week and the second post on the seventh day.

I did that for a purpose. I wanted to see what comments mean to communities. I wrote maybe 80 comments in one single community, and none of them were AI generated. repeat or meaningless. It worked, it did not win me the contest, but it worked the way I expected.

That's an altogether different experience from what I was having until now because I was never as engaged with other Steemians, but my engagement was limited to answering the ones who visited my posts. I can say, now I know the workings of communities from a closer point of view. I enjoyed engaging with authors and I am happy to say I know more users now.

Back to my aim, which is to help the newbies and the ones who do not get the needed support that will keep them interested, I did a post for them again. I wrote one of my posts for one talented newbie as a beneficiary.

Probably you might be aware that I have a campaign running. As usual, I am visiting newbies regularly, upvoting the worthy ones, and doing one post keeping one newbie as a beneficiary in one of my weekly posts in my home community, the DreamSteem.

A New Initiative to Help Newbies

Under this program this week, I selected a newbie, @ashley-p, and did one of my regular posts, adding her as one of the beneficiaries.

You can check out that post here:

Keyword of the week: I was leading the expedition, the expedition of defiance

Besides this, during my visits, I tell them how to do it correctly if I find any new user making any basic mistakes. For instance, a new user used burnsteem25 without setting null as a beneficiary so I suggested they remove that tag.

As I said while scouting for the newbies, I did my regular posts including one dolphin post as I reached my 5th dolphin status during the last week of April but postponed writing a post until the 5th of this month.

Incidentally, I have added delegation to another community that is working for the betterment of newbies.

As a moderator of Travel Steem, I am doing my regular duty on my assigned day, and as I mentioned, I have added 1000 SP to support the users a little better in this community too. I make sure that, as a moderator of Traveling Steem and Community Curator, if I see a newbie who needs my help, I try my best to support them by voting them up as per their post quality. I am proud to say that I support all good posts, even if I have to go a bit out of the way.

As a Steem Curator, I am doing my duty and trying to help worthy users even if they have not acquired club status. Here, I present my regular activities for the week through this screenshot.

My Account Summary

My CSI is normally in the range of 18–22, which shows that I am supporting all who need my support.

As I said, we in the Dream Steem Community support all Steemians through various methods, so I set the community as a beneficiary in all our posts, along with Burnsteem, which helps different causes, including the cause of newbies. We do not ask anyone to upvote us or keep us as beneficiaries, but we support all equally.

Last week, I participated in two challenge contests and performed subpar, and despite my busy schedule on and offline, I engaged in interaction as much as I could, to check how it came out.

Let me admit there was nothing extraordinary this week apart from my extraordinary involvement in one weekly challenge contest. I am trying my best to visit various posts by newbies and regular Steemians to understand and formulate my further strategy. I powered up once (860 SP) this week and will do it again by the end of this week.

Dolphin Alert : I have 5X Dolphin Status

In the end, as a Steem Representative, I always think beyond any specific country or community and support everyone on the platform on an equal basis.

Last but not least, thanks to my co-founder, @weisser-rabe, this community is always ready to support Steemians in need.

That's all for this week!

Thanks and Goodnight all,
Yours Sincerely
@dove11
