The Diary Game || 3-05-24 || Cleaning up an Assembly hall, Cutting my hair and Checking up the improvements of newbies

Dear Diary,
It was a clement weather and was the perfect weather for meditation. Unfortunately, I couldn't carryout this exercise because of the cleaning I had to do at an assembly hall of which a convention was to be held the following day. The summary of my day wasn't even funny at all because my mood changed for the worse. I just had a bad day throughout and this is the narration.

Preparing for the cleaning

I woke up as early as 6:30Am to run some projects before thinking of what to do next. I then took to my chores after the project at hand and also considered the scriptures with my family before leaving for the cleaning work. The scriptures we considered emphasized on how our creator gives wisdom to those asking it. As the God of wisdom, he gave wise king Solomon wisdom as of that time which made him the wisest man then.

After careful and prayerful considerations, I took to embarking on my morning journey to the meeting point we were told to stand so we can all entered the arranged vehicle in time. I got there as early as 7:45Am and we left in no time. While in the car which contained us, I listened to a song that uplifted my spirit that morning. There are some songs you listen to depending on the weather condition of that time and you'll get out of this world. The title of the song is You are the Reason .

The journey to the assembly ground is still far, so I had all the time to surf the net before work commences. I no time, we got to the assembly ground. The weather was really weathering I must say for a fact and the truth of the matter is that it wasn't just being clement. It was about to rain and it did rain, preventing us from doing work that morning. It rain heavily and refused to give a sign of subsiding.

I didn't just stand there looking at it to subside, I did the needful which whirled away my time. I took to viewing a movie I've viewed already with my earpiece. The movie is titled Tribe of Judah. This movie was and would always be one of my best movies as the chemistry in it was really resurfacing.

In no time, the rain did subside. What goes down must surely go up, I snorted. We took to out cleaning based on instructions given by the overseer of that place. He ditched our instructions on how we would carryout this cleaning in a way that would neither stress us nor make us regret our coming. We headed for the cleaning department. By my use of "WE", I mean the people who came for the cleaning as well with myself as one of the volunteers

In the cleaning department, I collected some brooms, buckets, and towels to use for cleaning. I then took to filling the bucket with water as it would be used to clean the long benches in the hall. I just loved the weather as it was friendly to do work. If you take a quick look at this assembly hall, you'll notice it's always clean, well maintained and green. This is because it's always maintained monthly, if not weekly.

Brooms	Were used to sweep the ball and also gather some debris from the walkways or probably from the fields.

While the cleaning was ongoing, I took to doing what I know how to do best. I captured the moments that resurface the whole assembly ground. The moments depicts people sweeping, packing debris, cleaning the assembly hall seats and other activities

Every corner of this assembly hall has a wash hand stand to show they encourage cleanliness. The wash-hand stands have an electronic soap removal button and a tap that's running when turned on. After ensuring the surroundings were cleaned, we took to washing the toilet which has a very standard pattern but can't be tiled since it's a public toilet. The use of concrete floor will help hide the dirt when stepped on compared to if it were tiled.

This is a picture of me washing my hands after ensuring the toilet area is kept clean from dirt against the following day which was the event in general. After ensuring this sanitation was done, a lady appreciated our hardwork by settling us down with food to at least commend or support us for coming out in our numbers to do this work.

She brought jollof rice with fish, well prepared and served it to the whole workers who came around. Soft drinks were shared as well before we took our leave. The work was one of a kind. It was the weather for me. It was neither sunny or rainy as the case may be.

On leaving the hall, I took alighting from the vehicle to cut my hair at a salon. **It was my first time in this salon as I was looking for salons in standard places to cut my hair. I tried the first place. The information I was given was that they do charge #1500 for any styles given. I exclaimed silently. #1500 for just hair? I pretended as if it were nothing and then, gone I was on the verge that I want to urinate.

I went to another place and the price was quite considerable and affordable at the moment. Little did I know I just signed in for problems that would take me a lifetime to cry. I first captured my hair before the cut. Keeping big hair is quite bushy and it doesn't fit me making me cut it every two weeks in a month.

This is what I told this man to give me. Guess the outcome of the cut. You don't need to see this because even you yourself would be angry. The man spoilt my hair to the brim. One thing I value most in my life is my hair. I've always cherish my hair as it's a sole determinant of how I'll look. I left in pain.

I just had to summon courage in purchasing some essential skin care products from a shop. I search of body sprays, i saw one of my favourite brand which I've been searching for. I didn't have enough to purchase it at the moment. I promised to return. This was what I spent in that place for just a product.

On returning home, I took to buying some street foods which I'll consume later in the day. When I got home, hunger didn't allow my stomach to rest because I didn't eat in the morning before going to that work. **My boon breakfast was spaghetti, yam and sauce with chicken

After balancing for the food to digest, I resumed work in preparation for the main event the next day. Preparations were serious. When It was dark, I took to giving my students on WhatsApp Assignments to work on as I was preoccupied that night to teach. That was how my day ended exhaustively.
