What are the names of your two favorite gadgets? And how do you use them?

With the advancement in technology, our dependence on technological gadgets is gradually increasing, and they are becoming a source of bread and butter for most of us. One of the major gadgets that has brought breakthroughs in everyday life is the introduction of smartphones. For the sake of this task, let's exclude smartphones from the discussion, and the remaining two gadgets that I shall be discussing are my earbuds and my hair dryer.

Earbuds are devices that are wirelessly connected to smartphones and deliver sound to our ears without us having to hold the smartphone in our hand or near our ear. As for the use of earbuds, they are connected to smartphones via Bluetooth. They are rechargeable devices with variable recharge and usage times.

When these devices are taken out of the box, they automatically turn on and easily pair with a smartphone via Bluetooth. They also automatically turn off when placed back in the box and are charged through a mobile charger inserted into the box.

The second device that I am going to discuss here is my hair dryer. This seemingly less important gadget is important for me for various reasons. This device is very simple to use. We have to connect it to the electrical outlet and turn it on. There is a single switch to operate this device, which has three modes: wind, warm, and hot. When set to wind mode, it blows air at normal temperature. When set to warm mode, it blows air that is warmer than wind mode but not as hot as hot mode. Hot mode is the highest working mode of this device, and it delivers air at a very high temperature to serve the purpose for which it is designed.

Explain how your life has become easier by using these two gadgets.

The two gadgets that are mentioned are my earbuds and hair dryer. These two gadgets may not seem very significant in day-to-day life, but for me, they are important and have improved my life.

Earbuds have eased my life in multiple ways, as discussed below:

• Earbuds actually save me time. While traveling or when there is disturbance around me, I use my earbuds to listen to study material, news, or other content, allowing me to make productive use of time that would otherwise be wasted.

• They save me from disturbances caused by others and also protect others from being disturbed by me. This is beneficial for both me and the people around me.

• Earbuds help me increase my concentration, especially when dealing with attention deficit issues.

• Listening to music or recitation through earbuds helps me feel relieved of stress due to the soothing effect of the close proximity of the sound to my ears, although prolonged use can sometimes lead to earaches.

As for the hair dryer, it is also beneficial for me and has eased my life:

• I use the hair dryer in the morning to quickly dry and style my hair, which is not possible with just a simple comb.

• In winter, when it is cold outside and temperatures are below freezing, the hair dryer is essential to dry my hair, preventing headaches in the harsh outdoor conditions.

• Additionally, I occasionally use the hair dryer to dry clothes, especially during the winter when clothes take longer to dry.

• I also use the hair dryer to dry wet mats, etc., when my baby spills water on the floor, allowing me to multitask efficiently.

Let me show you a photograph of my earbuds. The price of earbuds varies, but mine are from Skullcandy, a well-known brand, and they cost me 6000 Indian rupees, which is approximately $75.

As for the hair dryer, I also got it from the brand Philips, which is a very famous brand for various gadgets in our country, and it cost me only 2000 Indian rupees, which is approximately $25.

Having discussed the use cases of these gadgets above, I would recommend that those who find these gadgets useful should use them. I wouldn't say everyone should use these gadgets, only those who find them useful.

Besides the two basic gadgets mentioned above, I use numerous other gadgets like a steamer, nebulizer, power bank, iPad, BP apparatus, pulse oximeter, etc.

Of the above-mentioned gadgets, the BP apparatus, pulse oximeter, nebulizer, and sterho are health-related gadgets. The steamer is used to steam the skin to open pores and prevent skin acne. The power bank provides backup in case of electricity cutoff during winters. The video game is occasionally used to kill time, and the smart TV plays rhymes for my baby, unlike its traditional use. I have recently purchased a treadmill to maintain my physical fitness, as I run on it twice a day.
