Here in steemit platform, powering up means a whole lot and brings tremendous benefits to both the users and the ecosystem. In what sense I'm I saying this? It do not only add value to the blog while powering up but also helps you invest to earn from your investment. Example is having more steem power in you account.

Curation is done with steem power and we all are familiar with that because your steem power determine your voting strength on users post, but then do you have any benefits for curating? The answer is capital yes because every curation made comes with a reward which is based on the percentage you voted with, that's to.... the higher you voted, the higher your rewards and vice versa.

So the investment you made with steem power is never a waste as you will be profited with curation rewards, no matter how small it is but as said above. Such l love and value powering up.

The powering up process.

Here in my wallet I have 200 Liquid Steem today, this is the power of SBD and I want to power up all the steem l have in my wallet. Checking down my current total steem power is 1779.392 steem power.

Next step, I login to my steemit wallet, I clicked on the triangular icon, then many options pop up and from there I clicked on the power up option. Power up is a simple procedure.

I fill in the blank space by writing the exact amount of steem I want to power up. Then I click on Power Up option for the next process. Please follow through.

After completing the process, then I confirm the power up process by clicking on the ok option. We are almost done.

After this point, everything is successful, . Now let Go back to our current balance Boom!! My steem power has increased 1974.392 steem power. Waw, ooo this is wonderful.

As explained earlier, Powering Up enable users to gain higher Curation rewards each time you curate a post or comment.

Powering up also enable steemit users to earn rewards when they delegate their Steem Power to any Community and this is called delegation rewards.

Powering Up is an investment for future and it also turns out to give value to steem price which will in turn enable me to gain more of Steem.
