The Diary Game |(09/05/2024)| A hectic day

Greetings to all friends

Hi Everybody

Assalamualaikum! How are you all doing? I hope you are all in good health and high spirits. I always pray for your success and well-being. May Allah bless you with success and happiness in your future endeavours. Alhamdulillah, I am also doing well, thanks to your prayers. Today, I would like to share my diary with you all.

My day began with waking up early to offer Fajr prayers then I recited the Holy Quran. After that, I took a brief nap and woke up again at 8:30 AM.

I woke up and got ready for the day. I asked my mother to make me breakfast, which she kindly did. After eating, I prepared myself for the day ahead. My transportation arrived and I went to the university. Today was my fieldwork day, so I asked my uncle to drop me off at my institution. I gave my attendance there and did my job there perfectly. Then I left with my friends to eat something. It was very hot today so I decided to buy a cap from a stall.

I was out with some friends to a market that is near my fieldwork institution. and we stumbled upon this market. There was this guy selling caps, but he was charging a high price. I tried to negotiate with him, but he wouldn't budge. Eventually, I caved and bought the cap anyway. After that, we were feeling pretty hungry so we stopped by a stall that was selling samosas and pakoras.

We had some of those, and they were delicious! Today was extremely hot, and we couldn't even sit outside. I was sweating a lot, and everyone looked dull in this heat. It seems like their lives have come to a halt in this heat. That's why I don't like summer. Winters are way better than summers.

After a while, we began to feel thirsty, so we decided to try some sugar cane juice. It was incredibly cold and refreshing! Since there were four of us, we ordered four glasses of it. The seller was very kind and even offered us chairs to sit on. He noticed how the heat was affecting us, and his hospitality made a difference...

There is a market near our fieldwork location where one can find a wide variety of goods such as fruits, clothing, shoes, food and drinks. There are different styles of food available here and the food streets are very interesting. Everything I have tried here is very good. While passing by there with my friend, we came across an old man who had set up a watermelon stall.

He was selling watermelon at a reasonable price. I like watermelon in summer. It's my favourite fruit in summer.

Afterward, due to the rising temperature, we decided to go to university. My friend and I went to the institute, while she went back home to pick up some things. We waited for her in the institution until she returned. After that, we proceeded towards the university. My friend and I took a rickshaw, while @alisha-doll rode her bike.

She had to drop my friend off at her home on the way. After some time, my friend and I reached Food Street. We decided to quench our thirst by having a shake from there. Once we were done, we entered the university through the back gate, where the guard checked our identity. Then, our friend called us to come to the library.

Upon our arrival, we found our friends already seated, waiting for us. We spent a while conversing and were later joined by our other friends. Our discussion primarily revolved around our ongoing studies, as we are currently in the final days of the semester. With numerous assignments, presentations, and fieldwork to complete, my schedule has become quite hectic.

At 1:30, I asked my friend I wanted to go home because my uncle had called me to come out of the university. So, I picked up my things and went out. Before leaving the university, I went to the ATM because I needed some money for myself.

Then I went out and my uncle was waiting for me. I reached home at 3 o'clock. I asked my mother to give me something to eat because I was really hungry. After eating food I went to sleep because I was really tired. Then I woke up in the evening time and I went to my grandparent's home. My mother wanted to meet her parents. So I got ready and went to their home.
We sat there for some time. We talked a lot. I love spending my time with my grandparents. I went to the terrace and took some pictures of the sunset. The view was very beautiful.

We finally made it back home after some time. My father insisted on cooking Chicken Handi himself, and we were all excited to try it out. When he finished cooking, we found that it was quite delicious, and it was evident that my mother enjoyed it too. As for me, I couldn't resist and ended up eating way too much. After dinner, I spent some time studying for my assignment and did a bit of searching on Google to get the information I needed. Finally, I decided to hit the sack as I was feeling exhausted after a long day.

So that's all about my day. No matter how it went. I'm so grateful for a new day and I thank Allah for it, as it's only possible with His blessings. I had a wonderful time today trying street food and sipping on some refreshing sugar cane juice. How about you? How was your day?
