The subject dragged me here again POST LINK to share my view about the same.
Before I move forward, I am also eager to know the viewpoint of some of my dear friends here. Hence, let me invite @stef1, @patjewell, @kouba01, @adeljose and @petface.
The reason behind my invitation to them-
They are not only experienced but thriving steemians;
and they can share so many angles of their perspectives related to the above subject.
They know so many unexplored factors about this platform;
which may encourage newbies.
However, I can share only about my three-year and nine-month journey through the questions invited inside the challenge post.
✍️ What were your hopes while signing up for Steemit for the first time? |

I believe often, hope carries disheartenment;
when it hasn't been fulfilling.
It was the time of July 2020 when lockdown was going on, and I was working from home.
I already mentioned earlier that all my expenditures are carried by myself only! There are no helping hands for me.
I am staying in a rented flat. I was getting 50% less salary than I was getting after joining.
At that time, I wanted to overcome those tensions by enthralling myself in some creative works.
However, besides that, I need to increase my source of income.
Then I got to blogging and the steemit platform; Before that, I had zero ideas about blockchain! Honest confession!
That's the factors that were running;
at the time of joining the steemit platform.
My mother was a good chef, and I started as a food blogger with her recipes. Simultaneously, that was a tribute to her being a daughter.

My journey on the Steemit platform like riding on a rollercoaster. |

I believe everything that we achieve through shortcuts doesn't prevail long!
Various might disagree with me because that is entirely my philosophy.
My journey! Whether it's about life or the steemit, it is like a rollercoaster.
- I was backstabbed unnecessarily, not only myself but @sampabiswas also.
That happened when we wanted to help one steemian who was going through a financial crisis. Later, that person spread a lie to another person who introduced me on this platform, and then that relationship became toxic.
- Anyone can visit my three-year profile;
I never skipped posts nor negotiated with quality.
Like my personal life, I don't believe in giving up until someone hurts my self-respect!

It was tough! But a person who has fought alone from twelve years old;
You all can imagine her determination.
However, patience, hard work, honesty, and determination are my keys to fighting against hurdles.
People gave me so many adjectives and showed the power to pull me down;
but I believe no one is more powerful than the almighty, and that's the reason I am still working on this platform.

After joining this platform, I lost my job!
At that time, I was free because of losing my job! That is true.
But my heart and my brain were filled with financial tension.

| Now I have some true friends, now I have mom, my guardian who always guides me with the right path. I mentioned all of them today because we can overcome financial debt but never repay a debt of gratitude. |

Today, I got an opportunity to invite them to show my gratitude.
Steemit is a platform that gives me a reason to turn around once again and for that reason, I am praising the entire steemit team.

but all I can say is that, everything I have written from the core of my heart, and only truth! I suffer a lot for no reason.
That couldn't stop me yet, I don't know about the future.

It makes me kind of sad to read how you've been backstabbed. I know what you went through and agree with you that the shortcut is not the way (a scam does benefit although it's hard work to lie and fool people).

Steemit is one of the best thing that has happend to me and I guess we are on the same page in the sense that I also find out of Steemit when I was down financially. Steemit has really been a blessing
