Hello dear friends of Steemit Iron Chef community, it is my utmost delight to take part again in this power up contest. Yes, power up is sweet. If there is anyone that loves power up, it is me. Sorry if you love it too but I bet you, I love it most. Apart powering up to join the club or to remain in the club, powering up should be our desire. We need to take delight in powering up because it has numerous benefits.

When explaining how one can resist temptation and the benefits, one of our videos found on www.jw.org entitled: Beat a bully without using a fist said that the more you are able to say no when asked to do something you know that is wrong, the more power you will get to withstand the next one.

But at the beginning, it might seem very difficult to say know when we are confronted with bullies, but gaining that initial strength to resist it gives us more strength to keep resisting it without fear. This means that the more often you say no to the pressures to do wrong, the more easier it becomes.

By application, when we joined Steemit newly, it is difficult to blog if we don't have any steem power. Little wonder there is arrangement to support these newbies so that they can gain the power to keep blogging. But as they are able to power up and keep powering up, they will gain more power or strength in the name of steem power to be able to blog, vote and interact as much as possible here on the blog. The more influential they will become as they keep carrying out different activities that relate to their steempower including that of delegating to anyone they want.

I don't even want to talk about the benefits of investment because powering up in investment on its own. I am a living witness to what investments in steempower can do for us in the future.

Dear friends, as this contest demands, I was able to power up a whooping 280 steem today. I am going to show how I did it below

Step 1: I went straight to my wallet. I then discovered that I have liquid steem that I need to power up to gain more strength. After transferring out to maintain my club, I decided to power up the remaining.

I clicked on the liquid steem balance, then on the options that came up, I clicked power up.

Then I imputed the amount that I want to power up

Then the next thing was to click power up to finally power up.

With this power up, I have been able to gather 10746.952 steem power at the moment. It means that I have gained more power to carry out by activities here on the blog.

I was able to complete the power up using my active key.

I will like to keep powering up from time to time to keep gaining more power. Steemit being a business of steempower helps one to develop savings culture. This is because we can only cash out 1/4 or whatever thing we earn here. Thus, saving more than we can eat the moment. Every problem can wait. If I hadn't met with Steemit, will these problems not have been cared for? That's the mind set. If I am without the knowledge of Steemit, I would have still cared for my problems. So, I am moving with that mindset and that is why I find delight in powering up. I am not forced at all as most people think that they are being forced to power up.

I truly appreciate the organisers of this contest. I am glad that I have been able to take part.
