😥😭 😥 It's so sad and I think we need to help again.
Bosco was at the funeral of a 12-year-old girl on Tuesday.
Her name is Promise Tumwijukye and her family are the neighbors of Bosco's aunt.
As is so often the case, houses are buried by landslides caused by heavy rainfall. Promise died in her parents' house at around 7.00 am.
She is now the third child in the family to die.
Only the youngest is still alive.
And now the family is also homeless.
At the moment they are sleeping with the neighbors.
However, they are also very poor and have no room.
But they help each other where they can.
Of course, they have no money to build a new house.
The cheapest option would be a mud house, but there is a risk
that it will collapse again in the future due to a landslide.
And a stone house is of course more expensive.
In any case, we want to help.

Bosco war am Dienstag auf der Beerdigung eines 12-jährigen Mädchens.
Ihr Name ist Promise Tumwijukye und ihre Familie sind die Nachbarn von Boscos Tante.
Wie so oft werden Häuser dürch Erdrutsche, die durch starke Regenfälle ausgelöst werden, verschüttet. Gegen 7.00 Uhr morgens starb Promise in ihrem Elternhaus.
Sie ist jetzt schon das dritte Kind der Familie, welches gestorben ist.
Nur noch das Jüngste lebt.
Und jetzt ist die Famile auch noch obdachlos.
Im Moment schlafen sie bei den Nachbarn.
Allerdings sind auch die sehr arm und haben keinen Platz.
Aber man hilft sich dort, wo man kann.
Sie haben natürlich kein Geld, ein neues Haus zu bauen.
Die günstigste Variante wäre ein Lehmhaus,aber die Gefahr,
dass es dann in der Zukunft wieder durch einen Erdrutsch zusammenbricht, ist groß.
Und ein Steinhaus ist natürlich teurer.
Auf jeden Fall wollen wir helfen.

It will be very difficult to raise the money for a house.
The family lives on the hill. There is no real road there. All the material has to be carried up and for that you need people, who of course have to be paid.
We will see. We've already done so much in the last few years, we'll definitely help the family.
Maybe work out a budget for a new house and see where it goes.
A couple of houses have already been built through Steem in the past...
We have already had a few experiences with building a house in Uganda and everything has always worked out quite well.
But Bosco lives about 100 km away from Promise's family.
He first has to take a boat across the lake and then a motorcycle cab. That costs time and money.
At the moment it is not possible to make a reasonable cost estimate, so we are first looking at how much money we have and whether we can even think about building a house.
Bosco would then have to organize everything.
It's a different district, so everything is much more complicated.
And you can't imagine a distance of 100 km like in Europe.
The roads are bad, often slippery when it rains.
Everything takes a long time.
Hopefully a solution can be found.

Tragisch, das mag man sich gar nicht vorstellen. Der Spendentopf ist erst bei 3% - was macht ihr, wenn nicht soviel zusammenkommt? Hart...

erstmal herzlichen Dank...
Es kommt definitiv nicht mal annähernd genug zusammen.
Nicht nur der Hausbau will finanziert werden , sondern auch Transport für Bosco.
Bosco müßte dort vor Ort erstmal alles organisieren, ich denke, er müßte auch dort übernachten.
Also kommen auch noch Hotelkosten dazu.
Ich denke, wir werden ihnen das Geld, welches gespendet wurde geben und sie können dann selbst entscheiden.
Soweit man das auf den Fotos sehen konnte, ist das Dach wohl unbeschädigt. Sie brauchen also Holz und Lehm.
Ich denke, die Nachbarn helfen auch mit ,so gut sie können....
Mal sehen....
Es ist auch immer schwierig mit der Kommunikation.
Falls sie überhaupt ein Handy besitzen, können sie es nicht laden, da sie keinen Strom haben....
