Graphics of the Peace Park

in WORLD OF XPILAR27 days ago

Every time the creative waves change, I wonder: what is more important to shoot? Do I have to take pictures of one thing in my life, or is everything important? So far, I'm of the opinion that everything is important. Otherwise, I would be trapped within certain limits and my subjects would not be so diverse.

Nevertheless, I believe that I do not fully cover the entire genre photographic spectrum, but have chosen several genres for myself and ride these waves.

Here, for example, is the graphics. I came to it a relatively long time ago, but I realized what it meant to me only a couple of years ago.

Graphics in photography are not only homogeneous monochrome subjects, patterns and textures.

Graphics are such a worldview, a view of the world, a prism of perception.

It is characterized by the fact that I look at an object not just as something integral, but decompose it into its components.

Or, on the contrary, I collect all the components and present it as a whole.

I always look at the subject from a different angle...not a review, but a perception.

If these are tree trunks, then I can highlight both one interesting tree trunk due to the texture of its bark, and assemble many trunks into one linear pattern.

If these are the crowns of trees, then I see their volume and planning...but I submit it in such a way that there are no plans, just a form.

It turns out to be a kind of absurdity in the presentation of the plot.

If there is volume in the plot, then I deliberately avoid it.

If there are a lot of plans in the scene being shot, then I will make everything merge into one texture.

If there is a form, then I will destroy it. If there is no shape or geometry in the object, then I will look for it.

I like to play visual brainwash. In many pictures, it is completely unclear where the front is and where the back is.

I don't even know which out-of-focus object is closer and which is further away.

But sometimes I just show beauty in the usual way.

So that's what I'm getting at. Graphics – I now use this principle everywhere in all genres.

Graphics is not only a separate genre, it is the principle of seeing the world.

...Before writing this post, these pictures seemed simple to me.

But then I saw them again and was surprised at how some plots make the brain strain trying to understand the volume.

And if at least one photo steals attention and holds your gaze for at least a few seconds, then this is luck.
