Like many others reading this post, I've once again been on the search for some impressive new authors and thought I'd found a couple of gems. @o1eh had already picked them up and it felt like they should be receiving a bit more attention that they had been getting.

I realize the discussions of quality and value are old and tired — they've been around since I joined Steemit in January 2017 — but that doesn't keep them from being relevant. People talk a lot about what it takes to Build A Community — and this runs the range from a local community of garden enthusiasts to a social content community on the web — and often the very BASIC BONES are overlooked in a storm of suggestions about promotions, marketing and clever features.

Winter continues. For the fourth day, snow has been falling from the sky with varying intensity. But today, the good news is that the air temperature is still above 0, although it is not enough for all the snow that fell yesterday to melt. Yesterday I was going to do a little photoshoot in the style of "flowers and snow", but something went wrong. I did it today.

What an unfortunate way to begin this introduction post. But it has to be this way. I'm sorry @weisser-rabe that I am contributing to your (our) project Who is who in this manner. Last week, a couple of newcomers received support and votes. It's not really about me trusting them. I'm just using this to illustrate a point about reintroducing myself in our Dream Steem. Perhaps some of you may know that these newcomers turned out to be fakes. I had also supported one of the account holders by resteeming, engaging, and voting. Unfortunately, these are scam accounts.
Mother’s Day When a Pandemic Kept My Mother Away

One fine spring day this flawed human being is attacked by a gnatty swarm of mass media information. Best to allow it. There is no one else to talk to, besides the self. And only crazy people talk to themselves. Too much time away from the news, a human interest story on the radio, or even a curiosity about a terrorist from the forest and one yearns for the false community media will deliver.
