Poetic Film Review: Instinct to Kill (2001)
In the shadows of domestic bliss,
Lies a tale of betrayal and abyss,
Where a wife's nightmare unfurls,
As her husband's true nature swirls.
Instinct to Kill, a film of dread,
Where love turns to fear instead,
Melissa Crider, a beacon of light,
Mark Dacascos, ready to fight.
But the plot falls flat, cliches abound,
A low budget film, lost and found,
Violence escalates, but to no avail,
As mediocrity sets in, the film does pale.
With a rating of three, it fades away,
Into obscurity, where it will stay,
A cautionary tale, for those who seek,
A thriller that's strong, not meek.
