The apes and the two travellers by @adachukwu

Two men, one who always spoke the truth and other who told nothing but lies, were traveling together. This men were traveling to a far kingdom
On their way going, they enter the land of apes, so they were afraid and couldn't shut their mouths, this made them to be caught by some of the apes.
One of the apes, who had raised himself to be the king of apes, commanded them to be seized and brought before him, to know what the men are looking for and why they came to their land.

He ordered at the same time that all apes should gather and arrange their selves in a row and they should stand both in his right and left hand and also a throne should be made for him as the king of apes.

After the preparations, he said that the two men should be brought before him, and greet them with salutation.

The two travellers did as the ape said. After the greetings the king told them to kneel on their feet, so that he will asked them questions.

He then asked the men "what sort of a king do I seem to you to be, O strangers?

The lying traveller replied, you seem to me a most mighty king, a handsome and big king of all universe.

And the king ask him again, "what is your estimate of those you see around me ?

The lying traveller replied again, these men are worthy companions of yours, and they are fit to be armies and ambassadors.

The apes were gratified the lies, and the king commanded that a handsome present be given to the him. The apes were happy and rejoicing for what the lier said.

On this , the truthful traveller thought to himself, if so a great reward be given for a lie, with what gift may I be given, if according to my custom , I tells the truth?. Because he knew that all that his friend said was a lier

After the apes finished praising the lier, the king of apes release them and ask them to continue their journey.
The left and continue their journey , but the truth traveller never tell the truth again in his life, he joins the lying friend in telling lies.
