My Steem solar/electricals diary-Day 3 [9th May, 2024]: Welding day

Hi there and welcome to another diary of the Steem electricals business. Yesterday 9th May,2024 was another interesting day filled with much activities of the Steem electrical and solar business.

Like I mentioned yesterday as stated below..:

The shop would be fixed with protectors by tomorrow. The protectors would cover:

The ceiling and Outside the shop

And so it happened that way. The shop was protected with iron, both the ceiling and the outside.

We got there so early and we started sorting for the iron. And next, the welding work started. First, it was from the inside of the shop and we spent almost 6 hours welding those irons inside.

The welder first started by welding the vertical lines, thereafter he focused on the horizontal lines.

It was a little difficult standing inside due to the noise of the gasoline generator and the "welder's flash".

Unfortunately I wasn't with enough PPE, not like I was even with any of them. So, I rush down to a nearby shop were PPE materials are sold and I got a new ear muff. It was sole for like 2 Steem.

I couldn't talk much about the price because I didn't even know how much it is sold at the market, however, I didn't feel much burden paying it.

At the end of the day, we achieved our goals.

The interior was fixed with protectors.

And the outside was also fixed with protectors...👇👇

Next task in the shop for today (10th May, 2024)

The shop would be painted as follows:

• The ceiling protectors

• Shop interior

• Shop Varenda

This would be to beautify the shop and make it looks decent.

This was what I was busy with the whole of yesterday. I came back late very tired and sleepy. It is good to note that as the owner of a shop, you need to be on standby while most of these fixing are done, otherwise, most of those workers would steal some materials.

This is the more reason why I am always there to supervise and perhaps, made sure all work are done the way it's supposed to be done.
