Baby apple tree and garden update
I'm DRutter, and this is my backyard garden in Northwestern BC Canada! A year ago, it was just a patch of grass. Now, it's a patch of grass plus a couple garden beds and a baby apple tree. Have a look!
That's the apple tree, more like a stick at the moment. This is looking down on the tree, showing the young leaves opening to begin photosynthesis. Hopefully the plant puts on lots of size over the coming growing season.
That's yesterday, and here's today:
I've been taking those side shots for a while now. Maybe I'll do a time-lapse later on?
Speaking of time-lapses, did you see the ones I posted a couple days ago?
That's the current year, in other words, about 6 weeks of work. Lots of seeds are planted, but not a lot is showing yet.
Here are the past couple yard update photos:
See the robin in today's picture? The lawn has been mowed and he's looking for worms.
And lastly, a comparison between today and one year ago:
The yard is a lot nicer looking, more enjoyable, and more productive than it was before I started my improvements. Thank you for visiting!
Grow in peace.
