The Acting Regent of Nagan Raya Closed the XXV Aceh Appropriate Technology Event and the 22nd Anniversary of Nagan Raya Regency.

Acting (Pj) Regent of Nagan Raya, Aceh Province, Fitriany Farhas, officially closed the XXV Aceh Appropriate Technology Event (TTG) and the 22nd Anniversary (HUT) of Nagan Raya Regency at Suka Makmue Square, Saturday evening 11 May 2024.

This closing event marked the end of a series of activities that took place successfully and lively for 5 days, from 7 to 11 May 2024.

Acting Regent Fitriany said that the TTG Aceh XXV title and the 22nd anniversary of Nagan Raya Regency this year were special moments, especially for the people of Nagan Raya.

"Thank you to all the committee, participants, the people of Nagan Raya for their participation and enthusiasm in making the TTG Aceh XXV title a success and the 22nd anniversary of Nagan Raya Regency," said Acting Regent Ftriany.

He hopes that the TTG Aceh XXV title can be a motivation and source of knowledge for the participants to develop the potential of their respective regions.

"Continue to innovate and work to create new breakthroughs that are useful for society," he hoped.

"This event not only celebrates the anniversary of Nagan Raya Regency but also moves the community's economy, especially Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nagan Raya," said Fitriany.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Aceh Community and Gampong Empowerment Service (DPMG), Dr Ir Zulkifli, said that after this TTG event, the Aceh Government had facilitated several districts/cities to protect TTG tools in the form of patent rights.

“One of the things proposed is a palm oil crimping tool from Nagan Raya Regency. "The patent certificate for this tool is planned to be handed over to the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights on May 14 and 15 in Banda Aceh," said Zulkifi.

Furthermore, Zulkifli mentioned 7 potential candidates for hosting the TTG Aceh XXVI in 2025, namely Bireuen Regency, Bener Meriah, Southeast Aceh, West Aceh, Simeulue, Sabang City and Langsa City.

"Several things need to be prepared, including the readiness of the event venue, availability of accommodation, readiness of supporting agencies, readiness of transportation, availability of restaurants, and budget sharing allocation with the Aceh Government," said Zulkifli.

"During the TTG Aceh event and Nagan Raya anniversary, it was enlivened with various kinds of entertainment and competitions, then participants in the TTG event from districts/cities were also facilitated to undertake tourism in Nagan Raya Regency," he said.

At the closing ceremony of GTTG Aceh XXV and the 22nd Anniversary of Nagan Raya Regency, video congratulations from state officials and government officials, namely Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Minister of PDTT Villages Abdul Halim Iskandar, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Acting Governor of Aceh Bustami Hamzah, Acting Regional Secretary of Aceh Azwardi and the Regents/Mayors throughout Aceh, were also featured.
