Yes, I believe history can repeat itself through genes. Genes are like little instructions that tell our body how to grow and behave. Sometimes, these instructions can make us act or look similar to our parents or ancestors. For example, if our father loves playing music, we may develop a similar interest. If our mother has a talent for painting, we may find ourselves drawn to art as well. It's not just about appearance, but also about habits and skills passed down through generations.

So, when we say history repeats itself through genes, we mean that these instructions can make us act, look, or think like our ancestors.

Which habits transfer to you from your parents, or your children (if any) get the same from you?

I've learned the significance of honesty and genuineness from my parents. Still, I recall how my parents were genuine and honest; they weren't wealthy financially, but they were wealthy in those values.

They constantly taught us as kids to be genuine in all we did. They not only advised us but also demonstrated it by their actions. Whether it's telling the truth even when it's difficult, or being genuine to ourselves and others, these are lessons I've taken with me.

I taught my children the same qualities of truthfulness and honesty. I only have two sons, both of whom understand the value of honesty with themselves and others, as well as the need to remain trustworthy to oneself. It's a simple but significant lesson that, in my opinion, can significantly affect how we live our lives and treat others.

Share any of your habits that make you smile, and proud to believe the proverb.

One habit of mine that makes me smile and proud to believe in the proverb is my desire to help others. Whenever I see someone in need, whether it's a friend, a stranger, or even an animal, I feel compelled to lend a hand. My parents instilled in me the value of being there for others, therefore I have always been kind and compassionate.

I remember how my father helped a neighbor fix his flat tire even at I was brought to a doctor, and how my mother would volunteer to help others. Now I too find joy in doing the same. It may be listening to others, lending a helping hand, or simply spreading kindness wherever I go. This is something I am truly proud of.

Yes, I believe history carries the legacy of our previous generations. It is like how stories are passed from one person to another. We have shaped ourselves through our ancestor’s lessons, traditions, and experiences. Think of it as a family tree, with each branch representing a different generation. We inherit not just physical features, but also beliefs, values, and knowledge from our ancestors. These factors change our identity, behavior, and even how we see the world. So, in a way, we bring our forefathers’ legacy into the present and shape our future generation.
