Street Photography: Beurawe Underpass at Night

This Berawe Underpass was taken long time ago, when I visited Banda Aceh city. This two ways underpass was built to connect Kuta Alam to city center. After having coffee nearby, I came here to take the underpass pictures at night. It shows a lot people used this underpass to go to city center, and surely, it saves time. It is a public space usually crowded in morning and evening. When I was here, only a few vehicles used this underpass. Underpass is public space accessible to everyone without restrictions. Public space therefore serves a general purpose, regardless of ownership of that space. One of the types of public spaces is also an extra-level connection - an underpass. The underpasses provide an alternative way to safely overcome potentially dangerous locations due to a certain barrier - especially busy traffic. For the comfortable feeling of users, care should be taken to ensure that the underpasses are carefully cared for and that pedestrians use the underpasses without hindrance and with a sense of security.
