Tom Brislin - “Stuff You Would Understand” original song live at Steinway Piano Gallery Nashville TN
After playing in bands for years, I decided to try something new. All the way back in 2010, I moved from New Jersey to Nashville, Tennessee with the goal of writing and recording my first solo album. I stayed in Nashville for 4 years and was touched by the tremendous support I received from the community there. The folks from the Steinway piano gallery invited me to have my CD release concert there in November of 2012. I couldn’t resist the thought of performing on one of their incredible “D” 9-foot concert grand pianos, and we filmed the occasion. I’m going back into the archives and releasing some video from the concert.
Here’s my original song “Stuff You Would Understand”. The song is, fittingly, about the idea of moving to a new place and starting over. Enjoy!
