"All Too Well" is a song by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, released on October 22, 2012. Taylor Swift wrote the song alone while on her Speak Now World Tour in 2011, but length of the first draft of the song was over 10 minutes. Taylor Swift co-wrote the final version with Liz Rose, and the truncated version is 5 minutes and 29 seconds in length. It was recorded between February and March 2011 and was produced by Taylor Swift and Nathan Chapman. It is featured on her album Red, which was released on October 22, 2012.

Taylor Swift said in an interview that she started writing "All Too Well" on a day when she was feeling terrible about what was going on in her personal life. "All Too Well" narrate the difficulty of moving on after a crushing heartbreak and reveal Taylor Swift's ability to build an entire love story around a single telling detail.

"All Too Well" is a very powerful ballad and remains one of Taylor Swift's best songs, in fact her best in my opinion. I think it's one of the greatest breakup songs of all time.

In addition, Taylor Swift released a 10-minute version in 2021, and also released a short film of the same name that she directed and wrote in 2021.
