Steemit Tip #1 : Upvote only 5-10 posts a day
Every time you upvote something on Steemit your Voting Power decreases by 2%
You maximize the reward you give and receive if your Voting Power is at 100%
In order to maximize your reward you want to stay between 80-100 % Voting Power by only Voting 5-10 times a day.
If you have $100 in Steem Power your reward will be about 1 cent per upvote.... if you have $1,000 in Steem Power your reward will be about 10 cents per upvote.

So try to only upvote 5-10 of the very best Original content posts a day and let your Steem Voting Power recover back to 100 %
Also, when you upvote a post if you do it 15-30 minutes after the post was made you share 50/50 rewards with the author. If you wait and upvote after 30 minutes you share 99 % of the rewards with the other curators.... If you vote within the first 15 minutes the author earns most of the reward you give.

It all depends if a Giant whale comes along after you and upvoted with $100 ... then it makes a big difference
If 500 people upvote my post after you then the reward is split between 500 people .. it gets complicated

You need to stop voting for 5 days and try to get your Steem Power up to at least $100 by only posting Original Creative Content on your Steemit Blog.

I'd like to know, since I use Steem Voter to upvote all of my following and those I follow like @JerryBanfield, should I just set everybody's posts to 25 minute mark to ensure I get curation awards and that authors get compensated for my upvote?
What's your suggestion for how I should balance my earning and reward while I climb?
Also, I was considering buying like 30 to 90 day delegation which really maximizes your potential to earn and give daily does it not?

I never do any delegation - I don't use a Steem Voter Robot - I think that is a waste of your votes. I do everything manually. I concentrate on producing my own original Content - You get almost nothing from Curation unless you have $100,0000 Steem Power. I look for New Original Artists and uproot their incredible work after 15 minutes so that we share in the Rewards. I try as hard as possible to only vote 5 time a day to keep my Steem Voting Power between 90-100 % and I have gone from $0 invested to $1,500 in 5 months...... I get almost nothing from resetting a post unless I wa the 1st one to uproot at 15 minutes, then I Resteem and the post goes on to get $800 in Rewards... otherwise "Resteeming" clutters your blog and nobody can find your Good Original Content.
You are Voting way way way to much and your Voting Power is stuck at 1 % - so that means your Curation rewards on all those votes and resets is Zero.

I made all the same mistakes you are making for my 1st 3 months here..... so I was able to turn things around as soon as I let my Steem Power go back to 100 % and earned my 1st $100 in Steem so that my vote was worth 1 penny between 90-100 % Stop Voting on Everything ... https://steemd.com/@somealaskaguy ..
