What are the resources that support our well-being

Our mental and physical health are inextricably tied to the resources that we have available to manage them.

The more we are conscious of the contribution that our resources provide to us and the significance of those resources, the more effort we put forth to find them, safeguard them, and extend their availability.

It is possible to think of our resources as nourishers that contribute to our overall well-being.

Having patience, tranquilly, an interest in movies or literature, and a variety of hobbies are all instances of the inner resources that we possess. On the other hand, our friends, family, and the groups that we like being a part of are examples of the external resources that we have.

Our resources continue to safeguard, nourish, and cultivate us even during times in our lives when we experience a sense of security and well-being. However, the significance of these resources in preserving our well-being is amplified throughout times and processes of change that can be difficult for us at times.

Alteration is a dynamic process that can sometimes take place in accordance with our desires and requirements, and other times in accordance with the necessity of external situations, regardless of our desires.

Despite the fact that change is a circumstance that is familiar to all of us and that it regularly reminds us of itself through different contents, it may be tough at times due to the feeling of uncertainty that it brings with it and the fact that it requires us to respond differently than our typical responses.

For this reason, even in circumstances in which we have an internal incentive for change, our instinct to maintain what is familiar and our worries about the unknown can lead the process of change to be difficult for us to go through.
