Velvet Bean
Have you heard of the wonder bean called Mucuna pruriens (Fabaceae) AKA velvet bean? I know most people have not heard this before. Velvet bean is an aggressive annual climbing plegume growing in china,Asia and now Africa. It is an established herbal drug for management of male infertility and nervous disorder. Its was being used in other countries to treat Parkinson disease.Its why I have brought it here because most people here are affected by some condition associated with nervous disorder in not infected.Some people use its pods for food.Animals too can feed on this bean leaves.
Most food has herbal uses, but these beans look tasty!

I have not tried boiling them for food though.
They look tasty, maybe added to a stew pot with other vegetables. The bean seeds would likely store well, once dried!

I got attacked by a whale that moved from here to hive. I just haven't got to the point of posting again...still mad about it!

God promises to recover the years that you have lost to the whale. Give way to God for vengeance by taking your bitterness away from individuals.
There is no recourse, but I kind of blame steemit too. Their policies allowed these immature fools 'whale' status! This is one of the problems that damaged steemit in the first place.
This is the framework on the back entrance porch on the homestead, after we removed all the bad wood:
We rebuilt it with recycled wood today, and this is how it came out:
The real cost of this porch repair, was about $0.25 for nails! We now have safe entry, and we started working on the floor rebuild. The angle on the porch is deliberate to allow water to run off quickly, away from the main structure!
We moved about half a ton of construction supplies today, and started inspecting the floor framework we will need to repair. I was surprised to find the framework is in better shape than was expected!
