Organized a Steemit Training: Newbies loading …
Yesterday, I joined @fombae and @chant to facilitate a Steemit training session for five volunteers from The Greens and Y’G Inc. at the conference hall of Y’G Inc. The training began at 3:30 PM with an introductory overview of Steemit, which I conducted. I emphasized two critical rules: never lose your password and avoid plagiarism.
We then delved into various aspects of using Steemit, including how to post, the importance of tagging, creating engaging titles, participating in communities, and entering Steemit contests like the Diary Game. Additionally, we discussed strategies for making friends and staying active on the platform. The session lasted for two hours and concluded with a Q&A segment featuring insightful contributions from esteemed Steemians, who also serve as admins of the @steemcameroon community, @fombae and @chant.
A WhatsApp group was established for the new trainees to facilitate ongoing mentorship and support as they set up their Steemit accounts.
The event concluded with refreshments provided by Chant, including pork and drinks. Overall, it was a productive and enjoyable day with @nforyembe on the Camera 😂 .
