Day 25 #365grateful

I am allowed to feel negative emotions even when I strive to be positive. I am allowed to feel anger. I am allowed to feel sadness. I am allowed to feel whatever I want to feel. And so does everybody else.

Whatever you are feeling, good or bad, indulge in it. Feel the emotions deep within you. Take sometime to settle it all down. Don't supress your emotions. It will be detrimental for your mental health.

FEELINGS

All of us are gifted with emotions. Which leads us to feel something. Whether it is happiness, sadness or even anger. Allow yourself to feel the emotions. But do not stay there for too long. Understand why were you angry. Understand why were you sad. Understand the cause of your emotions. Then accept the fact that you are feeling that way. And let it go. Unless if it is joy and happiness that you are feeling, treasure that moment and smile.


Today I felt so many negative emotions due to the things that happened in the workplace and at home. I indulged in my feelings. I felt so negative and helpless. I tried taking a deep breath.. and be calmer. And I slowly cool off. There was still after effects, truth be told. But I try to shake it all off.

The moment I tried so hard to shake off the negative feelings, it just seemed hard and it still stay.

But surprisingly, the moment I just stopped trying so hard and let all the negative emotions to gushed in, I slowly cool off. How astounding!

I am grateful that I love myself enough to let it heal on its own pace. I am grateful that I am born with emotions.. able to feel so much emotions and feelings. That is what makes me human, having emotions.

I just wanna share with all of you that allow ourselves to feel the emotions within. Feel them all. And understand why you are feeling that way. Accept it. Welcome it. And you will slowly cool down.
