16 Years Later... and I guess New York forgot...

"Never Forget"

A phrase I've seen shoved down the throats of social media, and other media sources for 15 years. Now all of a sudden, it seems as if some people have forgotten. Granted, with such a horrible event to happen on our own land (despite what you believe actually happened that day), we should not forget. But we also shouldn't have to be reminded to not forget.

However, today in New York City, it would seem as if nobody remembered.

The only mention, at all, of September 11th on either of these papers, is the date in the run line.
Not one mention... granted I get the importance of reporting on Hurricane Irma, totally understand... But for a city, that is supposedly the heart of the country, that was torn apart and flipped upside down 16 years ago... I guess I just find it sad and kind of maddening that these papers either A. Forgot today was 9 - 11 or B. Ignored that today was 9 - 11 to report on a storm & the Jets and Giants SUCKING opening day, Debt of Taxi Drivers, and more fake news about Trump.

Should I be this mad about it? I live in Boston, and even on sports radio all day they have mentioned it, and talked about "where were you", and everything else that comes with remembering a tragedy that took place. I guess what really pisses me off is that thousands of people died that day, some jumping to their deaths... And the New York papers rather report on front pages how badly their football teams suck ass and political agendas.
