The Diary Game (18/04/22): Drawing Portrait of Ariana Grande + Reached 1000 SP 💜🎨🆙️ ~ 50 SP Delegates ~ Club5050 ~ By @carlaisl

Today I am very happy to share my day with you, again a very colorful one. 🎨💜

Before I start, I want to tell you that I finally reached 1000 SP. I'm so happy! A step to continue advancing and reach that desired Dolphin, with the 5000 SP. 🐬 Also, I got the reputation of 63. I really feel very happy about it.

Next, I share with you a capture that I took from Steem World, where the 63 reputation and 1000 SP are reflected. To continue growing in Steemit! Many moods. 💫

After celebrating these little achievements, I had a delicious egg with fried plantains for breakfast. 🍳

Then I got ready to continue enjoying some episodes of the Korean Drama "My ID is Gangnam Beauty". What can I tell you? I love the male lead, hahaha. 😁 On the other hand, I like the story, as it shows that beauty is beyond the physical.

After watching about three episodes with my sister, it was time for lunch. We enjoyed a delicious fried chicken with rice and fried plantains.

Then I set out to make a drawing to share in the Steem Womens community, I love creative Tuesdays. 💜🎨

On this occasion, I made a digital drawing of one of my favorite singers of all time: Ariana Grande.

Among the brushes used to make the drawing are:

♡ Soft Maru Pen

♡ Transparent Watercolor (mix)

♡ Airbrush (normal)

♡ Soft Pen

♡ Glitter Brush

All these brushes can be found for free in the drawing app.

1. I made the sketch with the Maru Soft Nib, one of my favorite brushes. I perfected the sketch with the help of the draft.

2. I added the base colors with the Transparent Watercolor brush (mix), their respective shadows and highlights (with the soft pen), throughout the drawing.

With the "Smudge" tool I mixed the colors to get some realism. Also, I added the small loose hairs, for more naturalness.

Then lower the opacity to the sketch layer, to further detail the realism.

3. I added more shadow to the face and pink color to the cheeks, to simulate the blush, with the Airbrush (normal).

4. I corrected the shadow on the neck, and with the Glitter Brush, I added glitter on the eyelids, to simulate the eye shadow.

I also added more hair in the forehead area, and make the lips bigger.

5. Using the Transparent Watercolor (mixing) brush, in dark brown and white in different thicknesses and opacities, I added details to the hair, highlights and more "flying hair" to give life and volume to the hairstyle.

This is one of my favorite parts, I love to detail the hair because it gives a special touch to my drawing.

6. With the same brush from the previous step, I drew the background, with colors similar to the original photo. I just made the spots and then blended them with the "Smudge" tool.

I have been working to achieve more realism in my drawings, using the sketch as a base and little by little, with the help of shadows and details, in the end I end up leaving it behind, as you could see in this portrait.

I consider this drawing a great personal achievement.

After finishing the drawing, I started thinking about how Steemit has helped me improve my art.

The first digital drawings I made a year ago, are nothing compared to what I have achieved today. I think everything is based on effort, desire to learn and love for art. Steemit has given me a lot of inspiration, because I have met great artists who have motivated me a lot to learn and improve.

Also the support and comments towards my work fill me with great gratitude. 💜

Once I reflected on my art and achievements, I decided to take a nap as it always woke me up sleepy. When I woke up, it was pm, I dedicated myself to the tasks of my work.

After that, I dedicated completely to Steemit: interact, support my friends, and respond to the comments left on my posts. This time I interacted as necessary and appropriate, since I was voting and commenting a lot lately, so my percentage was running out, and I didn't want to risk staying without interacting or posting for 1 or 2 days. We must be attentive to it.

I paused and went to my balcony to admire this beautiful sky full of curious clouds. The shape was very beautiful and it is another expression of "nature's art". ☁️

At dinner I enjoyed a bread with coffee with milk. I wasn't really hungry, so I liked to eat something light.

I dedicated myself to checking my social networks and chatting with my friends, until I got sleepy and went to sleep. Sweet dreams! 🌠
