If you noticed I uploaded a different thumbnail photo, that's because I don't want to have too many golden sun rise as my thumbnail for all my daily sports post. The thumbnail photo was supposed to be the second photo after I arrived at the running place, where I usually will make a sprint 100meters, then a short rest before I continue with slow jog. This is where I will search around for good view, and oftenly cloud pattern is the thing I'm going after.


If I got out an hour earlier, then I will not be able to see the sun from the staircase on my way out from my house. I particularly like this place because from here can see the sun ray shine through the clouds.


I have one panoramic view on top of the hill, but I decided to share this one with you because this has a better brightness so you can see more. However, come to think of it, might as well share the view from the top of the view so you can see the comparison. One moment please, I'm using telegram to send the photo back to my desktop so I can use the photographs.


This is the one from the top of the hill. The brightness again gotten screwed up due to exposure on the right side is so much greater than the left. My crap phone just doesn't work with this kind of extreme environment. Nevertheless, sky is blue, air is clean. Love it.


On the way downhill, stop by the roadside to take some rest. Pointing to this direction is usually where @lovelemon is, wondering how is this little girl doing. Due to heavy cloud and dense air, Genting Highland buildings are not longer be seen. Still very much looking forward to meet @lovelemon in person in Genting.


After spent some 2 hours jogging/running/walking/hiking around, finally back to "earth". Despite sun is already up, that time was around 10am, the street is still pretty quiet.

Cleaning

Decided to get down to serious business, cleaning some of my guitars that is stored in the kid's room.


This is my Keiper Jazz full hollow. The guitar was so new, that hasn't even go through the intonation, so now the 2nd and 3rd string sounded a little off. I don't know whether should I start setting it up again, or might as well just clean it, had it polished and sell it.


This is one of my all time favorite, a Craftsman SG. Those humbuckers has been changed with my Epiphone Les Paul. Don't ask why, they sounded just right for each other after the exchange of buckers. The Epi with low grade buckers sounded so much warmer, and this alt SG has the Epi bucker sounded more tangy sour orange.




Due to the extreme geometry of a mocking bird, had to resort with this extremely lengthy gig bag, Coffin Case.

Originally from tumblr Wasn't a fan of mocking bird, but it's all about shape and sizes. Had to own one just to remember Hideto Matsumoto from X-Japan.

Nope, nothing fancy. Just a basic BC Rich mocking bird.


My YAMAHA ERB-II bass guitar. Basic, but I love it. Low action but clean tone.


This is a Korean brand(unknown now since the brand gotten grind off) semi hollow jazz guitar I got it from a salvage where the person decided to give it up. It was a project guitar, that the previous owner took it apart, but after some work done on the paint stripping, decided to give up and sold it to me at a very affordable price. I had it repainted and now we have a working semi hollow jazz. The machine is a little rusted, and contact point needed some work before it can put into service again.


One of the last Baldwin Les Paul of it's kind. After heard Gibson will discontinue the Baldwin Spirit Les Paul, I decided to go all out, squeezing my last drop from the bank account just to get this baby. It doesn't really sounded that impressive, its a basic entry level Les Paul, what do you expect? But the kind of "less" make it more than a Les Paul Standard can do. Simple tone, simple action, simple control. Buckle up and take me to the moon. I believe this is why Billy Armstrong has always been with his signature Les Paul Junior.


Once again, don't expect magic, it's only an entry level guitar. I enjoyed it because it's a Baldwin, not because it's a Gibson. I'm not a Strato fan, but if you are, I believe the feeling of owning a Squire is just different than having a Fender.

Summary

Basically the whole day I've been having loads of fun, finding some younger self and diving into my guitars. And every good moment shall come to an end, since LazyMom is back, I better quickly get the house chores done, and took the little monsters out for a wonderful grill chicken at Nandos.


By the time we are back from the mall, is getting close to midnight and I had to quickly make this post happen before I forget what I have done during the day. I hope you enjoy this post.
