I am very grateful that today I am still given the opportunity to enjoy my food. I have never specifically scheduled what menu I will prepare today, there are ingredients and only then can I process them. My activities as a housewife make me spend a lot of energy, therefore I always prepare heavy food such as rice because I am also Indonesian.

Breakfast menu

This morning I woke up and made breakfast. Last night my father brought durian home from our garden, I thought of eating it with the finished sticky rice. Usually sold in village coffee shops. I took my motorbike out of the trunk and then bought pulut, the unit price is still very affordable, around IDR 1,000 rupiah / 0.4 steem.

Don't forget that I also prepared hot black coffee to accompany my breakfast this morning. There are lots of nutrients contained in my breakfast this morning, Durian is a fruit that is also known as "A Kings of Fruit". Durian contains high levels of Magnesium and Antioxidants so it will prevent various diseases such as cancer.

In addition, coffee also contains caffeine, magnesium which will provide benefits such as maintaining brain health and avoiding drowsiness, there are many other benefits in a cup of coffee. Glutinous rice, durian and coffee are a good combination to increase our productivity throughout the day.

I have done with my cooking to menu luch today

In the afternoon my father brought home shrimp. I then cleaned it. I opened the refrigerator and saw that there were potatoes and green chilies. Then I thought of making Shrimp starch coconut milk. I took other ingredients in my yard, such as coconut, basil leaves, lemon grass, cayenne pepper, and lime.

Materials to be prepared;

  • shrimp, potatoes, green chilies, basil leaves, shallots, garlic, pepper, cayenne pepper, coriander, turmeric, curly chilies, lime, pandan leaves.

How to set up;

  • clean the prawns, add salt and a little lime juice and the potatoes are cut into small pieces, while the green chili is cut into two.
  • Grind the shallots, garlic, pepper, cayenne pepper, coriander, turmeric, curly chilies.
  • take a container, add a little cooking oil and sauté the shallots, lime, and basil until fragrant, don't forget to add lemongrass and pandan leaves
  • after sauteing the ingredients then add the mashed spices, after changing a little color add the shrimp, coconut milk, potatoes and green chilies, cook until cooked, taste correction and ready.

Shrimp and potatoes can be found at the nearest market, these two types of ingredients are usually sold per kg. Shrimp are usually according to size, usually RP 70,000/kg or the equivalent of 30.4 steem. Potatoes at a price of IDR 14,000/kg or the equivalent of 6 steam.

Shrimp and potatoes have high protein. Shrimp contain various important minerals needed by body tissues, such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and zinc so that for children it will really help their growth. Meanwhile, potatoes contain vitamin B6, zinc, potassium, and phosphorus which are very useful, and can help rejuvenate collagen production in the skin.

I buy the toast for my snacks when I took a walk at evening

In the evening I bought toast, we took a walk in the evening and saw a toast seller. We bought a pack of toast filled with Srikaya jam which had been cut into 12 pieces. I bought it for IDR 13,000/5.65 steam only. Bread has a high carbohydrate content, and other ingredients made from flour and eggs have a high protein value, so these snacks will fill you up faster. Eaten while warm will be more delicious.

Ayam Geprek is my favorite menu and also my children

In the evening, mother brought home geprek chicken. One portion costs only IDR 10,000/4.3 steam without rice. Childrenloved it, the shrimp soup this afternoon was a little spicy for them, so they had a hearty dinner. Chicken can provide us with almost 36% of the total daily requirement of vitamin B6, so this will be very beneficial for the body's metabolic processes.

Try to eat regularly because it will affect our health. I also often consume fruit, although not every day (should be every day). After having dinner with the kids, I don't forget to take my medicine and then watch television for a while. After eating I don't go straight to bed because it's not good for my health, especially with the heavy food I eat. After praying insya then I rest.

@liasteem, Being a housewife is very time consuming, you are 24/7 and without taking vacations, which requires a lot of energy to be able to carry out all your daily activities.
