A Sublime and Beautiful Sunday Drive to the Vineyards

@c0ff33a shared with us a delivery on the way to his work on this article a couple of days ago. I told him that I'd share this drive today.
I don't have a dashcam like @c0ff33a and some of you do, so I used my iPhone to take these videos.
This was taken a beautiful day on my way to a vineyard to meet up with friends!
At the time when I took this video grape vines have been pruned.
The winter months are an important part of the California table grape growing cycle. Growth and development stop temporarily and the vine rests. This stage is called “dormancy.” At this time, growers prune the vine and set it up for the upcoming growing season. Pruning and training of the vine are two of the most important aspects for quality grape production – growers decide how much and which parts of the previous season’s growth to remove in order to regulate vegetative growth (shoots and leaves) and crop load (grape clusters) to produce quality grapes and optimum yield.

Brrrrr..... I cannot do cold weather too good. But perhaps this year, I shall spend the later par pf December or early January in Lake Tahoe, which is just a drive from here, and experience snow!

I'm Italian so its red wines. Any red is fine, I prefer sweet over dry.

I used to work at a vineyard.. The pruning and training is incredibly labor intensive
You did!!! That is good to know! I love the vineyards around here in Northern California, and there are so many of them. Many of the vineyards in Napa Valley were affected by the last two California fires.
