The CENTENARIO for Fiesta Tuesday
It is Fiesta Tuesday once again. This post is especially for my bestie, @silverd510, who conceptualized the #fiestatuesday tag for anyone to showcase coins from one of the oldest mints in the world, and I any silver for that matter. We just want to have fun... it is a fiesta💃🌮!!!
The Mexican 50 Peso gold coin is also known as the Centenario because it was first issued in 1921 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Mexico’s independence from Spain.
Most stackers are aware that most old gold coins have been alloyed with copper for durability, because they are minted primarily for circulation.
The gold coin pictured below contains 37.5 grams (1.2057 oz) of gold in an alloy of 90% gold and 10% copper.
It is a 21.6 karat gold coin.

Yes, and this coin is less in karats than the $50 Gold Eagle which is 22-karats (.9167)fine. My first acquisition and favorite gold coin is the American Gold Buffalo proof, which is 1 oz. pure 24 karat gold. ¡Olé!¡Olé!, dearest @dfinney!!! Have a beautiful evening, and take care .

You deserve to get your choice of Christmas present from mr @elizabethbit, hehehe 🤣😂!!! I think that a Christmas wish list is great to give the hubby, so that you are sure to get what you want. And in exchange, the gals usually give their husbands a choice of: 6 pairs of socks 🧦 or 6 t-shirts 👕 or a necktie 👔, but neckties are what they usually get for Fathers’ Day... so I guess just two choices for the guys, hehehe 🤣😂😆!
