Abandoned pioneer camp
When that for a long time, on these gates there was a sign - "Pioneer camp Mountain". There are no signs for a long time, the camp itself is abandoned and overgrown with bushes and trees. Only brick buildings have survived. The camp is located in the national Zhigulevsky Reserve, in the former village of Krestovaya Polyana. Used in Soviet times, after - abandoned.
The camp owned 15 buildings, a canteen and a medical center. There were showers, laundry, storage rooms, a generator substation and a watchman's house.
In the 1990s, the camp was sold. It was purchased by the religious organization Diocesan Office of the Church of God. On the site of the camp was organized Rehabilitation Center for the treatment of drug addicts. Then came the refugees from Primorye, who organized the "Primorye" community. In this connection, there are occasional rumors of the malignancy of this place.
