Abandoned swimming pool "Neftyanik"

Samara. Urban area 116 km. Unofficial name - "Stoshka". About 30 years on the "Stoshke" worked only in the area pool. Now it is completely abandoned. His sad story began in 2008, when the "KHPZ" transferred the emergency building of the pool to municipal property.

Built in 1977, the pool had 6 tracks of 25 meters, a depth of 1.1 meters to 6 meters. In the complex "Neftyanik" there were groups for teaching children swimming, as well as training in sports swimming. The pool was equipped with a 3.5-meter tower for jumping into the water. There was a fitness center and a sauna.

In 2010, the pool was transferred to the economic management of the municipal enterprise "Palace of Celebrations". Immediately after the transfer, a contract was signed for the sale of the pool of OOO Stroy-Invest. The sale took place without auction and bidding. The deal amounted to about three million rubles.

The registration chamber refused to register the sale of the pool, citing violations of the antimonopoly legislation, but the company "Story-Invest" appealed to the arbitration court and won the case.

In July 2012, the Samara Regional Arbitration Court found the transaction illegal. However, in December, the Court of Appeal unexpectedly overturned this decision.

At the end of April 2013, LLC "Story-Invest" exhibited the building of the pool "Neftyanik" for sale. The price was 21,000,000 rubles.

In July 2013, they removed the protection from the pool. The building was started to steal. In the building there were homeless people.

So the building looked like in August 2013.

Also in August of the same year there were two fires.

In October 2013, the mayor of Samara, Dmitry Azarov, told local residents that the owners of the building offered the municipality to buy back the building, but five times more expensive. The head of the city then said that the city authorities can build a new pool in another place.
