¿Qué es la denominada Liga de Defensa de Steemit?
La Liga de Defensa de Steemit (Steemit Defense League) fue creada por el reconocido autor de envíos indiscriminados y abusivos de mensajes “camillesteemer”, quien también utiliza la cuenta “mybestnews”. Después de haber sido señalado por spam y plagio decidió crear cuentas fantasmas de Steemit para banderear a cualquiera que lo haya señalado. Con el tiempo, las banderas comenzaron a apuntar a cualquier persona que apoyara a quienes lo señalaron y, finalmente, a cualquier cuenta de Steemit.
Aunque sus banderas no tienen sentido, por el poco valor de voto que poseen las cuentas desde donde lo hacen, han logrado confundir, frustrar y desanimar a muchos usuarios de Steemit. Los nuevos perfiles de usuario controlados por “camillesteemer” para banderear, suelen mostrar imágenes de chicas muy sexys. Se han identificado, por lo menos, 108 cuentas vinculadas a la Liga de Defensa de Steemit. Usuarios con alta reputación en la plataforma se han preocupado por neutralizarlas, afectando aún más su escaso poder de voto. Sin embargo, estas cuentas siguen causando molestia en la comunidad steemiana.
